“This is a lovely cottage and the location is great. We had a fantastic stay in Windermere. However, be aware that the street parking is only for an hour and so a paid carpark is needed, not free parking as advertised. I messaged Sykes Cottages about this issue twice and received no response so communication was unfortunately a problem. The cottage was also in the process of being cleaned when we arrived, despite this being after the check-in time.”

The cottage was beautiful, location stunning and information for guests excellent.We initially couldn’t find the lock box on arrival and shared our amusement of trying to find the fourth bedroom but couldn’t fault the attention to detail and how well equipped the cottage was. ”
