It was close enough to easily walk to the resort within a few minutes, very reasonable in cost, and the proprietors are wonderful people. Called Expedia several times to cancel - never got a person- always a computer voice that made me go through lots of hoops - eventually said an agent would be there- and then hung up. “We had a great time. We came up for a weekend of fly fishing and hiking with our dog. The huge fenced-in yard made that a pleasure rather than a challenge. As other reviewers have noted, it's great to sit on the front porch and watch the dog run around/explore. And the bread from the local bakery that was there when we arrived was a very nice treat.
