Not at all what was promised
We booked what was supposed to be a romantic suite hoping that it would be a nice place to stay for my birthday as a couple. In the description we were promised robes, wifi, safety box and garden view. We didn't get any of that. We couldn't see out the windows. The wifi wasn't working in our room. The bed was uncomfortable and small. There were no robes or safety box. It was not at all romantic and absolutely no suite and we paid 173 dollars per night! We asked in the reception if we could cancel our second night. We got the reply that we should contact the owners of the place through Hotels.com but we didn't get any help or answers. It's a good place to stay if you're a backpacker but if you're looking for a romantic suite this is not the place. And don't expect to get all those things promised in the description.

the rooms we had just got mosquito nets as walls - it became cold during night if the weather was bad. Beds are quite hard so had some pain in our back after 2 days. Wifi doesnt work very well. Breakfast is great. Got a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook your own food. unlimited access to drinking water. Takes about 5 min to walk to all the restaurants. Close to the beach.

If you enjoy the real jungle experience n noise
Pictures look better than the actual place. Location was great! But the noise situation was out of hand. Too loud in the morning -we were right next to reception and the music playing in the morning at 7:30 am was unnecessary. I’m Not sure what happened, but we all left with bug bites- either Bed bugs or spiders…

The worse family vacation I had. This Cabañas (if you can call them that) don’t have walls, floor and their palm tree ceilings have whole where the rain goes trough. Add all this to a horrible costumer service. I saw a snake near the table when we were eating and the mosquitos are a nightmare. No air conditioning and when I beg them to please refund me the two last nights of the week I booked after suffering for 5 days, they told me that wasn’t possible. Please never go there.

Very charming! Rustic! Be prepared for cold showers and lots of mosquitoes, but it was close to the beach and so peaceful and quiet. Staff were great!

Little gem in the jungle close to the beach/center
Perfect place! We had a huge house for our two kids and us, hamacs everywhere, all facilities, super eco friendly! Raccoons, iguanas and cats! Feels like sleeping in the wild. Breakfast could start a bit earlier but it’s delicious. Staff is super friendly and the decoration is amazing !!

Eine sehr rudimentäre Unterkunft. Unser Zimmer war recht klein und es gab kein Schrank o. ä. um die Kleidung aufzubewahren. Eine Klimaanlage war im Zimmer nicht vorhanden daher war es sehr (!) warm. Nach einer Nacht haben wir die Unterkunft gewechselt. Ich würde diese Unterkunft eher nicht für einen Aufenthalt weiterempfehlen.

Nice stay and experience
Nice and calm hotel. We have never stayed in huts before so it was a little different than normal but it was very nice and clean. In the hut we stayed in there was sand floors which was a little anoying but there are also huts with wooden floors. The people working there was very friendly and helpfull. There was no aircon but there are plenty of fans and the air flows rigtht through the huts so the huts were comfortable event though it was very hot outside. It was a very nice and alternative experience and we would not hesitate to come back.

Yo me quedé en un bungalow y lo que no me gustó fue que estuvieran dos pegados, como son de madera hasta los susurros de las personas de a lado se escuchan. Si quieres usan el aire condicionado te cobran 150 más. lo demás todo bien

Hola Ainara, soy Jairo Lamentamos mucho que te sientas asi Es temporada de nortes y hay mucho aire así que a veces se apagan los calentadores, tengo entendido que este problema fue resuelto... En cuanto a la cocina, debido a la pandemia y la sana distancia fue restringida. Sentimos mucho las molestias pero intentamos seguir dando un servicio con las restricciones y protocolos internacionales de seguridad para la salud de todos. El desayuno no es incluido , principalmente el restaurante estaba en remodelación para las fechas que nos visitaron. Obviamente no podemos brindar el servicio de desayuno mientras se encuentre en remodelación... Gracias por tus comentarios Ainara:)

Excelente trato de los anfitriones, todo cuidado y limpio, suuuper ecológico todo, el piso de las Cabañas es de arena yeso le da un toque súper cool! Las camas muy limpias y cómodas, amables y las hamacas súper relajantes! Caminando llegas a la playa, no usan plástico ni latas, sólo vidrio, lo cual me encanto. Acaban de abrir el servicio de desayunos por un costo adicional.

It was a very clean place and quite, there is no A/C it is not a luxury stay but everything is very relaxing staff goes above and beyond to help you. It was a hot night but still had a great time.

Cabañas tranquilas y limpias, excelente servicio por parte de personal, cumplimiento con los protocolos de limpieza anti-Covid. Me gusto la estancia, definitivamente regreso, el costo-beneficio es bueno.

Pues cuando llegamos hacer el chekin no había nadie en recepción la verdad no vi en su página q tenían horarios para realizar el chekin, y un joven me llamo muy molesto diciendo q dejaban en la ventana sus números de teléfono para q YO les llamara en cuanto llegara!!!!!! Y si vas cansado o t quedas sin batería como les llamas!!!! Eso no me agrado

Bon plan pour 1 nuit sur l’île
Petites cabanes en bois dans le sable, pas de sol et pas de murs, uniquement des moustiquaires et des rideaux. Une cuisine partagée et une zone conviviale avec des hamacs. Plage à 3 min à pieds. Sympa et rigolo avec des enfants. Ok pour une nuit car très bruyant à cause de l’hôtel voisin qui a la musique à fond la 1ère partie de la nuit et malgré la moustiquaire beaucoup de moustiques pendant la nuit. Il faut prévoir boule Quies et anti moustique. Très appréciable: après le check out à 11h, on peut laisser les bagages et continuer a utiliser les espaces communs dont les douches. Nous avons pu passer la journée complète sur l’île et pu prendre une douche avant de reprendre le ferry. Un bon plan.

Main street
Avoid the rooms by the street. Very busy loud street with all those beach buggy/quad bikes/motor bikes that they use allover the island for transport. Loud traffic noise day & night :-(

NO respetan las condiciones de reservación
El hostel y Hoteles.com NO respetaron las condiciones de reservación ofrecidas y cobraron por adelantado y con cargo adicional por pago con tarjeta de crédito, cuando nosotros teníamos planeado pagar en el hostel y en efectivo para evitar sobrecargos. Muy inserios y abusivos, y Hoteles.com no hizo nada para atenderi reclamo. NO CREAN EN LOS PRECIOS OFERTADOS EN ESTA PLATAFORMA.

Hola, soy Jairo Sentimos mucho su descontento, pero toda la informacion acerca de los impuestos y cobros esta en las plataformas, deben leer toda la informacion antes de reservar y para garintizar las reservas es necesario hacer el cargo en tarjeta o otras opciones como pay pal, pero no se puede llegar sin tener un cobro del 50% Los mejores saludos Jairo

El chek in dice en la página que es a partir de las 8 am pero la persona llega hasta las 3 pm. Luego junta a toda la gente para dar indicaciones y un recorrido y hasta mas de una hr después te entrega la llave. El lugar no es tan cómodo y no nos dieron toallas. Esta a una cuadra de la playa, por lo que la ubicación esta muy bien.

Hola Damariz, soy Jairo Sentimos mucho que te hayas sentido incomoda con el check in, la recepción esta abierta de 8am a 8pm pero los check in son a las 3 por que los check outs son a las 11 y tenemos cuatro horas para limpiar todas las habitaciones. Esto es un eco hostal en una isla, así que es normal que no haya las comodidades de un resort Saludos Jairo

grande cabanas plein de charme, décorée avec goût avec tout l'équipement nécessaire : salle de bain privative, frigo, cuisine équipée avec grand frigo un peu sombre toutefois localisation : un peu éloigné du centre ville mais de ce fait au calme à une minute à pied de la plage bonbonne d'eau à disposition dans le logement très très appréciable
