I normally do not leave bad reviews — in fact, this is the first negative review I have ever written — but my experience at this hotel was disappointing enough that I feel others should know before booking.
After a very long international trip, I arrived hoping to rest, but the AC in my room was not working. A technician came twice and could not properly fix it. The unit remained loud, barely cooled the room, and at times only pushed hot air.
When I politely asked reception to either fix the issue or move me to another room, the receptionist became rude and raised his voice, claiming there were no rooms available. However, I later checked online and saw multiple rooms still available for booking, which felt dishonest and unprofessional.
The internet also stopped working for a couple of hours, and the room floor made strong cracking noises while walking, making the room feel unsafe and poorly maintained.
I paid around $125 USD for this stay, and honestly, based on the room condition and level of service, it did not even feel worth $25.
Very disappointing experience overall. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, professionalism, or basic customer service in Istanbul.
