We loved watching the boats and wild life in the harbor and had so much fun taking the dinghy out to explore more.The boat had everything we needed to make a few meals. The marina bathrooms were convenient, large, and clean. We would absolutely stay again when we are back to Ventura. ”

The houseboat itself - awesomely authentic with every need met. Super clean, amazing bed and linens, every kitchen utensil imaginable. September was an amazing month for us with awesome weather. Heading out in the mornings on the kayak was soul enriching. Wine on the back deck or apps on top...

“I spent a month on the houseboat called “Salty Dog”. I had my 20 lb puppy, Tilly with me and a friend who is a professional pet sitter came and joined us a few times. Two things really impressed me. 1., the boat was superbly equipped as if ready for a long range voyage and 2. The neighbors were all Salties - creative, fun, and helpful. Proximity to everything from a grocery store , laundry and to a pub and a bunch of great local restaurants all within walking distance was great. Parking was easy...
