We did not receive any check-in instructions. We contacted the property who claim they're available "24/7" who replied 5 hrs later (3:30am!). Had to book another hotel

Brilliant for what I needed, great value for money and a comfortable, spacious room in a great area. Only a short walk to the Barbikan by the city wall, no more than a 5-10 min walk to the old town centre & under 15 mins to the main train station. Would definitely stay again.

Property was basic, but decent value for the price. Was not able to get in touch with the host since the Wi-Fi was not working. Sent several messages. Never received a response about this during my entire stay. Overall, it is decent for a cheap price.

The location of the property was excellent and the room was very clean. The shared bathroom was a bit tricky in the mornings when people from all 3 rooms wanted to shower and get ready for the day! The bed was also very low although comfortable. The bedding smelt lovely and it felt very safe in the area around the apartment and in the building.

If you’re the type of traveler that likes to spend 10+ hours a day sightseeing and only needs a place to sleep, this is a fantastic find for what you pay for. The bathroom is shared, the noise between the walls is noticeable, but the location is absolutely fantastic: ~15 min walk to the main station, 10-15 min walk to the famous old town, and tons of places nearby. The location is great, and it’s perhaps the only hostel-priced living arrangement where you actually get your own private bed. I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer term stay, but for a few days of sightseeing like myself, this was a great place. The bathroom here was quite modern too for what I expected.

The place comes with a good price tag and is a short distance to the city centre. However, we did not receive the check in information 24 hours in advance. This might have been an issue with my phone, but even once the rental unit was notified at 9pm the prior night I only got the information 30 min before check in. The joint bathroom was clean however the shower does not drain and within seconds of starting your shower, you will be standing in a pool of water. The bed is not an actual bed but a pull-out couch that was hard and very uncomfortable. The couch also only had a small flat sheet separating us from the stained couch, which would shift throughout the night meaning we woke up directly on the couch in the morning. Additionally if you are on the wall side of the uncomfortable couch bed and roll over there is a chance the bed will began to fold back into its couch form. The windows allow all sound in from the streets with little to no sound dampening and even with the blinds drawn allow a ton of light. Finally, there is also no sound dampening between the rooms and the hall allowing you to hear everything and anything that’s happening in the hall or the adjoining room. The door has hazy glass panes (not see through) so the hallway light shines into the room when someone else is outside. While this room is a good price compared to other rental units in the area, you’re getting what you pay for with a bad bed, lots of light, noises and a clogged shower drain.

Clean and basic. Comfortable bed and nice pillows. Cleaning lady was lovely. There was a problem with the key safe. The owner came and fixed it straight away. I have to say, I was a little apprehensive as it was so cheap but I'm glad I booked it. A ten minute stroll to the old town and a thirty minute walk to the Jewish quarter.

Veldig fint og rolig rom i bysenteret. Baderommet er delt men rent og greit. Dusjhodet festet var ødelagt så litt vanskelig å dusje, men ellers gikk det veldig greit.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The check-in procedures found in the booking confirmation were incorrect. I was not able to access the building or the apartment, and had to call the host. The phone number provided was not in use. I was outside in the dark for almost one hour trying to solve this issue, before I had to give up and find another place to stay. Later on I contacted hotels.com, and then managed to get in touch with the host online. I asked for a refund, but they took no responsibility for the situation, and seem to think that it is ok to provide a phone number that is not in use. I can not recommend this host, and you are better off finding a different place to stay.
