Beautiful views

Unfortunately things didn't start out well. The property had not been cleaned & no one was answering our phone calls to the "emergency" number, so we were forced to stay elsewhere the first night. When we were finally able to go to the property the next day after having to call to follow up with Gippsland Escapes, the house was beautiful. It could do with more kitchen items (there were no baking trays & we had to buy teaspoons as only 3 were provided) & a 10 seater table would make more sense for a house that sleeps 9 (currently only a 6 seater table), but overall the house was great. The beds were comfortable & at night you can hear the waves from the back of the house. We have been disappointed with the response from the manager Kate at Gippsland Lakes Escapes who we feel has not been reasonable & completely honest with us about the situation on our first night, but hopefully this is not a regular occurrence as we basically lost a day of our holiday which she is not taking responsibility for.

Cosy family holiday in Lakes

The house was very clean and nicely set up. The beds were comfortable and cosy. A few more mugs, glasses and tumbles would have been nice to have. Overall this property has topped our list of holiday destinations.

Lovely house, perfect for the family

The house was well presented, clean and comfortable. The bed linen was fresh, the beds comfortable, and everything we needed to cook, wash etc was provided. Was perfect for me and the family, would definitely recommend.

Property is good but not what it describes

It’s a good place but not clean enough also there’s no access to garage as well as a room which is locked, parking is hard cause garage is closed and can’t park on the street as it’s an 80km zone

Nice place for the price.

Nice place with comfortable beds and located in a quiet street. Unfortunately you wont be able to walk to town and there is no covered area to use in bad weather or hot sun. There is no use of the garage which is disappointing. I asked for early check-in and was confirmed 12 o'clock. When we arrived at 3 as we were running late the cleaner was not finished and would not be for another hour. After all that the floors were still not the best so i moped them again. Overall its a nice place just needs a pit more attention to detail.
