“We sat and watched a major winter storm outside the window. Very exciting from within a cozy house. We enjoyed staying in a house where you could feel somebody's presence, rather than the "accessorized" vacation homes with welcoming signs from the Dollar store etc. Only thing lacking--place needs a new key box because the existing one is hard enough to use that it feels like it won't work. Gorgeous place!”

“We had a great Thanksgiving here with my family. This looks like a very small cottage but looks are deceiving because it's huge inside. Fabulous layout and great communication with the owner. Only thing we didn't like is it's very close to the ocean but you can't get access to it. owner..this was”

“My wife and I stay for a long weekend, had a great time! Anything you might need is provided, watched the sun rise over the lake right from the dinning table, enjoyed the gas fireplace at night. Off the beaten path but not really 5min and your on the main drag with a multitude of stores. I'm sure its even nicer in the warm weather.”

A mini-fridge, coffeemaker and microwave oven do not make this a "Studio" in the sense that I understand that word (i.e., a one-room apartment with kitchen and bath). When I went back and looked at the photos in the listing, that should have been obvious to me, but I got hung up on the word "Studio."That said, it was a comfortable room, although the bathroom was stingy on towels (no face cloths, only one hand...
