Really disappointed
I’ve stayed here before and really enjoy the location and the style of the hotel in general, but this time we had a really unpleasant experience.
Our second night we heard a sound from the bathroom and found that there was some kind of leak and water was streaming down from the ceiling, through the light fixtures that flickered and stopped working. It ended pretty quick but the bathroom was a mess from the questionable water.
These things happen, and I totally understand that there wasn’t any available room that we could move to straight away, but we didn’t get a new room until the following afternoon so we had to shower and get ready in the faulty bathroom. The night before they told me that there would be rooms available in the morning, but the morning staff said there was nothing they could do. I mean it’s not the end of the world but I know that there was people checking out in the morning.
We also only got a 15% discount on that night, I was really surprised by that. The bathroom with flickering electricity frankly didn’t feel safe so i expected at least 50% off for that night.
I usually rarely complain but I feel that they could have done a lot more to ensure a pleasant stay. Maybe it would have been easier if there was a person to talk to and not just a chat.
