My husband and I stayed in this wonderful 2-bedroom, 2-bath flat from April 28 to May 20 on a business trip. The flat appears to have been recently renovated, with high-quality furnishings, fixtures, and beautiful modern interiors. The HVAC system was easy to use and effective. We could easily live there!When we booked, the flat had only one review because it had just come onto the market. We took the chance and are largely glad we did. So why 8.5/10 instead of 10?The flat’s newness was both a strength and a weakness. Only one key/fob set. We requested a second set and were told one would be available but it never arrived. We did have use of the concierge key, we still had only one fob for building entry and elevator use: we had to adjust plans and appointments.The first bath shower head was inoperable, but there was a hand-held. The second bath shower was inoperable, and the washing machine was inoperable. We booked the optional maid service ASAP the bank holiday, when all was fixed. Two of three dining-fixture lightbulbs were burned out which we replaced ourselves. The steam oven lacked instructions, so we purchased an air fryer/oven. Finally, after our request to extend our stay by two nights was confirmed, we later received an invoice at a substantially higher rate. That should have been communicated at the time of confirmation.Despite these inconveniences, the owners tried. The property has all the makings of a consistent 10/10. We would happily stay here again.
