Paddington 4-Bed 8-Guest w/Patio Massive Apartment in Old Victorian Pub

4 beds, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms large apartment with a patio, spread over a ground & lower ground floors, just steps from the famous Paddington Station. Located in a grand Victorian building dating from 1841. Converted from an old pub, with unusual 4 metre (12ft) high ceilings.

Early Check-in: when possible, we can take your luggage earlier or offer an earlier check-in. We do charge a flat £50 for this, as it changes our normal schedule and our housekeeper needs to bring extra help in order to prepare the apartment faster.

Fantastic location close to Paddington Station for Heathrow express and connections to other rail and tube lines. Easy checkin, Jacob the host was accommodating and welcoming. Great insights on local restaurants. Very clean rooms. Lovely decoration but maybe not every space needs to have something on it! Only complaint was that the main dining table was uneven and crowded into a space so that even leaning on it was a problem .

Loved everything about this Paddington apartment. It became my family if 5’s home for 3 nights. Amazing home base for a London holiday. Such a unique layout. Extremely well cared for and maintained. Clean, great appliances, comfortable beds, luxurious bedding…I could go on and on! I hope we have the opportunity to stay here again one day. We arrived back to our house this evening and we are already missing this Paddington home!

Lovely property in a perfect location for exploring London. All rooms decorated beautifully and the 3 spacious bathrooms were an added bonus. Jacob’s home is beautiful and very central! We enjoyed walking to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and jumping on the Tube at Paddington for other adventures. All you need is a 2 zone pass and almost all of London is available to you. The bed in the main bedroom was heaven - slept like a baby. All of the home had lovely amenities and beautiful decor.

It is SO close to Paddington Station! It is a very convenient and easy walk - just be sure to exit the back side of Paddington (exits nearest the Oliver Bonas store).The flat is well furnished with the common area, bright well stocked modern kitchen, and dining table for 6 all on the first floor at street level. The beds are very comfortable, and the marbled bathrooms are clean and modern.Paddington gives you access to several well stocked grocery stores as well as restaurants and coffee shops - perfect especially for your arrival day! Plus this station’s underground/tube is perfectly situated to take you anywhere.And the Heathrow Express has a direct connection to from the airport and is much quicker than catching a cab. Our host’s (Jacob’s) hospitality is excellent and we felt well cared for!We highly recommend this flat!

The location near Paddington Station gave us easy access to the Tube, which made getting to any of our destinations simple and convenient. My family and I were all extremely comfortable during our stay here! It was conveniently just steps away from Paddington station and the place itself was stocked with every item we could need. The rooms were very comfortable, the bathrooms had everything we needed, and our host was immediately available anytime we had a question. Great for a family with older kids, 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Not suitable for younger kids given lots of home decor items. Very clean. Loved the big fluffy bath towels and heated floors. One block from Paddington train station which was our priority but otherwise not the most central location in terms of shopping and dining. The description said King beds, but by US standards the beds are Queens. Very responsive hosts. The bedrooms are beneath ground floor so a bit dark but also keeps then quieter. Easy check-in and check-out.

Could NOT have been better! The owner emailed directions for check in, then called to make sure everything was ok. When we ran low on coffee he dropped more off. We had a list of local pubs, where to find the closest grocery and the larger grocery. Recs for other things to do. The home was lovely! And very well appointed. Loved it!

Location and Convenience

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. Jacob mer us at the door and gave us a quick tour of the property. It was very clean with a lot of space and all the amenities we needed to settle and relax right away. Jacob was willing to provide helpful tips on navigating London, and responded to any questions promptly.The flat is steps away from Paddington station and was incredibly convenient for a young family with kids to take transit. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Great experience

Jacob and Thomasina were very accommodating and communicative during our stay. We loved their apartment and the convince it offered to Paddington train station, Hyde Park, and nearby restaurants. Each room was very clean, comfortable, and had its own separate bathroom, which was helpful when traveling with a group. The apartment was also very quiet at night and allowed everyone to get a good night's rest. Overall, this was the best VRBO experience I've had and would highly recommend staying at Jacob and Thomasina's apartment.
