About this space Superbly located for a short trip into town- this exquisite, first-floor, 1-bed London flat is set within a boutique development with views onto the historical St. James's Church and Gardens.
Hop on the Jubilee Line tube, just 2 mins away and be at London Bridge in 10 mins or take a short stroll to Shad Thames and Tower Bridge for an abundance of restaurants, bars and local shops.
Arranged on one spacious floor this stylish, light-filled, and comfortable flat is a perfect London retreat.
The space Bermondsey is a wonderful area of SE16, South East London. the neighbourhood has a relaxed feel with tons of great restaurants and galleries. The flat is on a quiet, leafy street with a fantastic local pub on the corner and many shops within easy reach.
The flat is a large 1-bed flat on the first floor of a boutique development. On the edge of historical St. James's Church Gardens the flat benefits from lovely views onto the gardens.
On entering the living space, along the hallway is the modern, light-filled bedroom on the right. The bedroom is perfectly located at the back of the property, overlooking the Church gardens. There is a comfortable (real) King sized bed, bedside tables and wall lamps and a wonderfully sized fitted wardrobe with sliding mirrored doors, for guest belongings.
Opposite the bedroom is the spacious bathroom with bathtub, shower over bath, basin, WC and towel rail. There is shelving for toiletries and belongings.
Further along the hallway is the open-plan kitchen/living area. There is a fully integrated kitchen with all appliances/conveniences and plentiful cupboard and workspace. There is a Nespresso coffee machine to enjoy, with some pods available. The kitchen leads on to a stylish island table with stool seating where guests can enjoy meals together. The bright living room area, has modern artwork and a supersized, comfortable sofa with cushions where the stunning Church and garden views can be enjoyed or where guests can relax reading or watching TV. This room benefits from floor-to-ceiling windows with natural light pouring in. One of these windows opens out and slides along for a Juliette balcony on warmer days. Alongside the sofa and TV there is a coffee table and the added convenience of a large desk and comfortable chair for guests wishing to work or study.
Guests will have access to the entire flat during their stay. We won't be around in person during your stay, however, a remote self-check-in gives flexibility for arrivals, after 3pm. Our property management company, Pass the Keys®, is on hand to provide 24/7 guest support should guests need any assistance during their stay.
The flat is professionally cleaned and the linen and towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. Each guest will receive one hand towel and shower towel to use for the stay.
There will be some complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel-sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and soap. Other items provided during guest stays are a washing-up pack, toilet roll, and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there are various convenience stores and supermarkets locally including a small Co-op across the Church gardens for essentials or a larger Tesco convenience store on Jamaica Road approximately a 5 minute walk away.
The flat is located within the London Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) and charges may apply for drivers.
There is paid parking available on adjacent Dockley Road, these parking spaces are subject to availability.

Other things to note For guest and building safety there is 24-hour CCTV at the entrance of the building as well as an onsite building Security/Porter. Please be advised that this property is not suitable for guests under 21 years old and is adults only (no infants nor children allowed).

Please respect our neighbours by keeping the noise down. No loud noise after 10pm. Strictly no parties! Only confirmed guests may enter the property.

Please respect our home and leave shoes in the hallway. Please use the table mats, coasters and heatproof mats to protect our furniture and worksurfaces. Please do not sit on the back of the sofa and please do not eat in bed or on the sofa.
Please switch off all lights and turn down the heating thermostat when leaving the property or when not required.
For every stay longer than 14days there will be linen changes required (on the 14th day, 28th day 42nd day etc).
When leaving the property please make sure you close all windows and lock the doors. Please note there is a £250 charge for lost keys due to required security fob and lock replacement, so please be careful with them. Many thanks

During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
