I was visiting NY for the world cup and this flat was very comfortable for our needs. It's well equipped, beds are comfy and living room is great for hanging out.

Very clean and spacious. Host responded quickly to any questions. We loved being so close to Central Park and enjoyed walking in the park each day. Kitchen supplied everything we needed for cooking.

Really enjoyed how close this property is to Central Park. Also very convenient to several subway stations to take trains downtown. Overall the apartment served our needs well as a family of eight. The smell in the building lobby is very unpleasant. The property managers really need to do something about this.

This property was safe and very convenient location with transit options just a few blocks away. Several food options nearby as well. The unit itself was clean and stocked, beds were very comfortable. Not many bowls but paper plates were available. Plenty of pots and pans. The entry and elevators were dirty and had a terrible smell.

Exceptional host, beautiful apartment. Convenient to public transport. Blocks away from Central Park. On street parking. 7 adults and 2 toddlers were very comfortable during our long weekend.

This apartment had everything we could have wished for! We were a party of 7, which included a baby and a 10yr old. We were all perfectly comfortable. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. The bathrooms were also fully stocked with toiletries and plenty of linens. All of the beds were super comfy. The area was clean and safe. You can walk to multiple kinds of food, and you can even order hot food from the market. You can easily walk to the NE corner of Central Park and the subway. And Gertrudes is simply the best host! She is super responsive, and will do whatever she can to make your stay comfortable. We would definitely go back. Thank you so much!!

This place was perfect for our annual family trip to the city! Very close to the 6 train that will take you downtown in minutes. Very clean and had every amenity you could need. It was also the most quiet place I have stayed in the city. The host was extremely helpful with any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this place. We love the huge couch for sitting all of our family comfortably. We also loved the HUGE TV in the living room. Perfect stay! Thank you Gertrude. We had a wonderful trip!

We came into town for the weekend to see some Broadway shows and museums. The apartment is in a very safe place across from Central Park with many amenities nearby for coffee, food, etc. Commute into the city was never a problem although with traffic takes a bit longer than expected. Our host was wonderful and never more than an email or text away!

Our stay was wonderful- the apartment was just what we needed for a family of 6. Needed the extra space! Location just a few blocks from the subway was perfect. When we reached out, the owner was gr wast and responded within seconds. Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment, nicely decorated and spacious, plenty for our family of 7. Very clean and had a fairly well stocked kitchen (no can opener though!) Excellent location close to Central Park and subway and bus stops. My only complaint is that parking available is street parking only and I’m still not sure what the deal was on the towncar. I had asked for more info when we booked and was promised more information on parking and using the town car, but it never was provided. That being said, there is safe free street parking nearby. However, for the price of the apartment I did expect a pre-paid structure spot.

While the hosts did arrange grocery delivery (which we appreciated) and the beds were comfortable, the rest of the experience was unacceptable.The unit was not properly cleaned—there were sticky floors, visible dust, and hair balls in multiple areas. The bathtub did not drain and filled with standing water during use. There was also active flooding in the hallway outside the unit. On top of that, the door lock did not function properly at times, which is a serious safety concern.Building security was also lacking. The doorman did not ask who we were or which unit we were going to and appeared disengaged, which made us feel uneasy about safety.The location is also misleading. It is listed as Upper Manhattan, but it does not clearly state that it is right on the border of East Harlem. As first-time visitors to New York, my friends were very uncomfortable upon arrival.Because of all of this, we immediately requested to cancel and leave the unit. We spent approximately six hours on the phone with the host and customer service trying to resolve the situation. The host refused to cancel or offer any refund, stating they would be penalized and have their listing suspended. Despite the condition of the property and our immediate request to leave, they would not budge. So we were forced to book another accommodation costing us more. Even after several attempts to contact the three owners This was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Proceed with caution.
