  • STANDING BAQUIS is a beautiful spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 en-suite bathrooms. It is located in the city center, in the quartier des Musiciens (Musicians' area) near the Promenade des Anglais and the main avenue of Nice, Jean Médecin.



    The decoration is a mix between modern and vintage. The contemporary furniture, crystal chandeliers, elegant fabrics give cachet to the apartment creating a unique atmosphere and intertwining several eras with subtlety.

Would stay again in Nice!

The apartment is in a beautiful building of private residences ideal for safety and accessing public transportation, markets, grocery stores, restaurants and Nice’s attractions. It was clean and very spacious with comfortable beds and cotton linens. Both the kitchen and bathroom had modern features. Internet and television worked quite well. Definitely recommend staying here! Accommodation could use higher quality bathroom towels, a supply of paper towels and napkins, and a few more dish towels (one is not sufficient for a week’s stay). Finally, although acquiring the apartment’s keys was easy, I suggest improving the process by having someone meet the occupant at the apartment rather than walking to an office. Similarly, key drop off could be more convenient besides walking to the office.

- Close to everything in downtown Nice - Beautiful and spacious, with lots of natural light I would definitely stay here again! There were small black flying insects in the kitchen sink. Great apartment central to everything and only 5 minute walk to the beach. My only complaint would be we were told there was AC in all rooms and this was not the case. Only one of the bedrooms had AC (not the master) and there was only one other AC unit for the rest of the apartment. It was still better than nothing but took about 2 days for the apartment to cool down to a comfortable sleeping temperature. It was also during a massive heat wave when we arrived and not the norm, so under regular templates I’m sure it’s not an issue. The apartment itself was great. Plenty of space for my husband and I to both work remotely in the evenings and our son to have his own space as well. There’s a grocery store literally next door & we cooked in most nights. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. It’s a bit noisy with the windows open, but you’re in the city and that’s to be expected.. The promenade and beach clubs are just a straight walk down and only maybe 5-7 minutes away. Old Town Nice is only about a 15 minute walk and there’s plenty of restaurants around everywhere. We found a great coffee shop called Le Country Store just down the street that I enjoyed most mornings. We enjoyed drinks at Cafe de Nice down on the Main Street. We had a wonderful lunch at Le Liber’Tea (get the frog legs!!) but I wouldn’t recommend Le Petit Beef Bar. Drinks were horribly unbalanced & service was painfully slow. Food was mediocre at best.Thanks for a great visit!
