Great view of Ocean
The location to the beach for this house is amazing. The dunes are lower so you can get an ocean view from the deck and the entire downstairs. The bedroom upstairs facing the ocean also is a spectacular view. The house is older and you can tell, there were a few things that I think could have been cleaned better and I let the property management know. They were super responsive. The location on the island is pretty far from things just be aware. If you are used to being at OKI and centrally located, this one is a bit far. If you donât visit OKI often you probably wonât notice, itâs still a 15 minute drive, which is pretty typical places. I did make a recommendation to add curtains to the downstairs sliding doors. While during the day itâs gorgeous with the view of ocean, at night itâs a little odd to have that open and be able to see neighbors so close. I canât speak for all 4 bedrooms as we only used two, but the larger king size bed is pretty uncomfortable. I havenât found many houses at the beach that have good beds but I do want to mention it seemed a bit old if youâre looking for a super comfy bed. I think this place is great for younger couples, families(with older kids) and friends. I probably wouldnât recommend for younger kids, or older grandparents. The stairs and the bathrooms arenât really conducive to a larger crowd with older folks and little ones. Overall, it was great for what we needed for a couple days for me and my daughter.
