Great location. Close to many eateries and attractions. Notre Dame is literally around the corner. Loved the terrace! Enjoyed being outside resting after a day of walking around. The property is clean and comfortable. The owners are kind and attentive to communication. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location. Relaxing outdoor patio.

LOCATION: Everything about this property was exactly as expected according to the pictures and descriptions. Located just steps from Notre Dame Cathedral, the location of this apartment is central to many restaurants, sweets, bakeries and grocery stores. The train is steps away. The River Seine is also steps away. UNIT: As other comments have mentioned, there is a small staircase or very small elevator to get to the second floor to access the unit. An extra large suitcase could be a challenge. Also, the ceiling in the unit is low. My husband is 6'1" and bumped his head getting out onto the outdoor patio. It's not that big of a deal considering you're not going to be staying indoors much anyway. But the unit might feel smaller than it is due to the low ceiling. The full size refrigerator and ice trays were excellent. Dishes, pots and pans were well stocked. Fans in the living room and bedroom were much appreciated as we were there in July.HOST: Our host was very responsive and communicative when we had questions. Instructions were detailed and the Guest Book in the unit was very helpful for finding grocery stores and other resources. We arrived as the cleaning service was leaving; she was delightful and helpful explaining how to use the keys to the building and the unit.PATIO: We used the outdoor patio much more than we expected. Sitting on the patio enjoying cheese, fruit and a drink after a day of sightseeing was very relaxing. Loved it!

Location Location!

This is a great spot to “base” out of. It was our first Paris experience and nice to have both the subway and “big bus” around the corner….both made moving around easy. There are many restaurants around as well. The host was very pleasant and went above and beyond! The shaded private patio would have been nice, but it was unseasonably hot. The price/location cannot be beat! Thanks!

Apartment opposite Notre Dame

The apartment was very good, 10 steps and there was Notre Dame. Well furnished with lounge/sofa bed (we didn’t use it so can’t comment on its comfort as a bed). Dining table and chairs, the kitchen was well equipped. The bed linen and towels are of good quality.The terrace, with outdoor furniture, was a definite plus. Although with all the restoration works at Notre Dame and road works it was very dusty. Although there are fans, I think in summer it might be quite hot. Communication with the owner was excellent. Would definitely stay there again when in Paris. One note, the street number on the website is 18 but on the plaque at the door where you actually access the building it is 19.

Home away from home in Paris

My goal was to spend a week in Paris with no real plans, just hanging out and enjoying the area. I found this apartment and initially thought it sounded too good to be true. After reading all the reviews I booked it. The apartment will now be my home away from home when I visit Paris. It is centrally located next to Notre Dame (right around the corner) but feels like a world away. Depending on your mood you can turn right and have all the touristy things or turn left and be on quiet streets. I spent many hours out on the deck either for coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening. It's close to a wonderful farmers market and amazing restaurants. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. Also, I was a single woman traveling and felt very safe. Will definitely stay here again!

January stay

Aurelien was an irreproachable host. He came whenever we needed him, even for minor things. The apt is wonderfully located in a warren of ancient curving streets just off the quai. Grocery stores are 2 blocks away; another two blocks and you're at Place Maubert, with an excellent bakery, charcuterie, butcher, fishmonger, cheese shop, etc. The apt's finest feature, a big terrace, we could not really use, since it was January. But the LR/DR/kitchen is sufficient. The BR is just a space for a mattress. And rue de la Bûcherie is a few hundred yards from Notre Dame. We had no complaints.

Paris stay

Lovely property and perfect for a couple. Wonderful location with easy access to Central Paris but very quiet on a side street. The outdoor terrace looked lovely, but we did not use it since it was December. Would definitely stay here again. The check-in process and communication was flawless.

Beautiful little apartment

My friend and I came and spent 12 days in Paris with darling little apartment to come home to every evening . We absolutely loved the darling patio that was our own little green Oasis in the middle of this beautiful city. We spent many evenings out there. It’s a great location with Fun cafés and shopping nearby. Would definitely recommend for your next day in Paris!

Love the Terrace!

We stayed for five weeks. The host was amazing, available, helpful. The location is excellent, right across from Notre Dame and near both touristy things like Shakespeare and Co, and neighborhood experiences like the many wonderful bistros and markets near us. Excellent internet allowed us to work from our terrace, just splendid. Our goal was to create an experience of feeling as though we live in Paris! Mission accomplished and we will be back!

A secret oasis in the heart of Paris

The apartment is delightful with every amenity provided. It is so close to all the Ile de la Cite attractions and is tourist central, but when you are relaxing on the balcony you could not not be further from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful quiet apartment near Notre Dame Cathedral

This is a true gem on a quiet side street that’s just a short walk from the Seine River and many places to eat, enjoy a cappuccino and shop for souvenirs. The apartment has its own huge private terrace. We especially enjoyed the cozy, warm electric fireplace on rainy days. Aurelien was responsive and very helpful whenever we had questions. We hope to return someday soon!

Absolutely perfect apartment, outstanding location very near Notre Dame, close to shops and cafes. We stayed five weeks and were not ready to go. Two things were amazing- THE TERRACE! And the responsiveness of the owner. We will be back!

Perfect Paris apartment

One of the favorite places we have stayed! Communication with the host was excellent and the apartment was easy to find and get into. The location was perfect - easy walking distance to many of the sites and close to several metro stops. The apartment was very comfortable- with everything you would need. A remarkable gem!

The location is amazing, central but quiet in a fun area walkable to major sites. Easy access to metro, we took the train from the airport and to everything else we wanted to visit when we didn’t walk! The apartment is lovely and beautifully outfitted with everything you need or want. There’s built in storage space, making a small bedroom fine for our long stay. The bedding was comfortable, plenty of pillows and towels, even bathrobes. The bathroom has a nice shower/tub, big counter space at the sink, mirrors, and storage. The washer/dryer is in the bathroom and nice to have. The kitchen is very well appointed with great appliances. We did not make any major meals but I think we could have. Everything was there. The sitting area and dining area were very comfortable and lovely. It was very hot out but we were fine with the two strong fans in the apartment. We appreciated the umbrellas, shopping bags and other thoughtful details. The patio/deck is even nicer than the pictures! It was nice to come back and relax out there, or to have breakfast, or to have friends over for a glass of wine. Side note, you need to step up and over a good size step with low ceiling to get out to the deck. Aurelien was very friendly, helpful, and responsive, answering questions by text quickly. He provided a great resource book in the apartment for everything. We look forward to staying at this apartment again some time in the future!

Perfect location and size apartment

This well-equipped apartment was the perfect size for my wife and me to stay for 3 weeks while we explored Paris and the bonus of a private terrace allowed us to relax outside without having to leave the apartment. Just a block from the Seine, the location is convenient to shops, restaurants and the metro…we LOVED playing Parisians for a few weeks in the amazing Latin Quarter, which seemed to have so few tourists. Aurelien was an exceptional host…he gave us total privacy, but was very responsive when we needed him…he even helped us navigate through the security restrictions in place for the Olympics. We definitely recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Quality apartment wonderful location

Exactly as the listing states. Clean, you have everything you need, and the courtyard is an incredible add on doubling the size of the apartment. Great location to Latin quarter and loads of restuarants, including major metro stations Thank you to our host for making our stay in Paris memorable.
