**The location is superb, with truly amazing views. When we arrived, we were given a beautiful junior suite overlooking the Tuileries, exactly as we had reserved. However, on our first day, we returned from sightseeing to find maintenance working in our room without any prior notice, citing a leak in the unit below, presumably from our bathroom.
The following day, the front desk informed us that we needed to move due to this issue and assured us we would receive the same type of room. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We were placed in a cramped attic room with a small bed and tiny bathroom and were offered a $150 credit as compensation. That was far from adequate.
Overall, I was left with a very negative impression. The experience fell far short of any notion of putting the customer first.**
