Communication was good in the check-in process was easy. Unfortunately, the apartment is unsafe at the moment due to a severely buckled floor. This was not disclosed to us prior to arrival. When we questioned the host, he insisted that it had just happened before our arrival. That is unlikely as there was no water damage evident. Because the buckled floor ran the entire width of the apartment in a narrow traffic area required to move from one side to the other, there was no way to avoid tripping over it. In addition, the loft bedroom space ceiling is so low that you cannot kneel or stand up. This is also not disclosed as part of the property description. Some beds were comfortable, and other beds were not. The space allotted for the fold out couch is insufficient to open the couch without moving furniture or obstructing the path to the bedroom and bath. We did communicate to the host that we felt the property was unsafe, but we stayed there since we only had a single night booked and no other options. The host did not offer any compensation or seem concerned about the safety issue in the apartment. It is hard to capture the raised floor in these photos, but it was buckled several inches above the floor level.
