“We stayed in Haven Hall and had such a great experience there! The owner David came to greet us and showed us around his property which they renovated for 4 years prior to opening as a boutique hotel. The hotel has beautiful decor inside and a spectacular waterfront. We were asked in the evening what we wish for a breakfast on the next day and they made it exactly the way we requested. We wish we spend more days on the island and definitely would recommend this hotel for everyone who is visiting...

“My husband and I are Swedes in our mid twenties, and we went to Portsmouth for a weekend getaway. Next time we go to Portsmouth, we will definitely stay at The Clarence again. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was very nice, and being Swedes we really care about the breakfast quality. Try the salmon egg muffin, you won't be disappointed!”

“Our second stay in this group of Boutique Hotels, and we were given a complimentary upgrade which was amazing!. The group of hotels have a small number of rooms, which makes them ideal for a quiet stay and the rooms are lovely and comfy. “Fantastic place totally out of the ordinary. Five-star attention by the staff made us feel welcome from the start. Great romantic room and Full English breakfast served at the table. We had dinner in the cosy restaurant with a menu leaning heavily on seafood, for obvious reasons. After a walk along the seafront we came back for a coffee in the nice pub-part of the restaurant.
