En körfält i hjärtat av Rom, Castel Sant’Angelo, bara lite mer än 100 meter bort, antika återförsäljare (via dei Coronari) gatan inom ett stenkast och St. Peters basilika, Piazza Navona och Piazza Farnese inom några hundra meter. Detta är Antiqua, ett 1600-talsbostad som är perfekt för en semester i Romas gamla stadskärna.

När du går ut genom Antiquas huvuddörr befinner du dig omedelbart mitt i den fascinerande atmosfären i påvliga Rom. Långa smala körfält gränsade till aristokratiska palazzor. Offentliga anläggningar av alla slag: från gamla trattoria och eleganta restauranger till sushibarer och gammaldags kaféer. Och verkstäder som håller de mest forntida hantverkna vid liv, överlämnas från far till son: marmorskärare, återförsäljare av lädervaror, guldsmeder och restauratörer. Och bara lite längre bort på vägen, på andra sidan Viale del Lungotevere, ligger den gyllene floden Tiber med piren från vilken du kan ta en båt för en tur nerför floden.

Inredda med antika möbler, terrakotta golv och tak i tak, "Antiqua" består av ett stort sovrum med dubbelsäng eller queen-size, ett enda sovrum och ett sovrum med dubbelsäng, ett badrum, ett utrustat kök (diskmaskin, ugn, kylskåp, espressokaffe maskin ), ett vardagsrum med en soffa med tre personer och en rymlig matplats. Excellent location. Water fountain for drinking water steps away, restaurants, bars, etc right outside and very close to attractions like Colosseum, Vatican, etc. Host was very quick to respond and the unit was extremely secure. It was up a few flights of stairs with a total of 3 doors (all with separate locks). It was a very nice stay with great amenities like stocked coffee, clean sheets, and extremely comfortable bed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Great apartment for my family of 5. A little smaller than we expected, but probably typical of a city apartment in Europe. Location was amazing, close to many great cafe’s, coffee shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Host was terrific and very helpful.

Perfect location

My family of five stayed at this apartment! Comfortable beds, Perfect location- we could walk to everything. The only negative was walking up three sets of stairs with luggage, but the location made up for that!! Would definitely stay there again

Great Location

We were here for three nights. It was in a perfect location to see all of the sights of Italy. There are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance and you can get to most of the major sights without public transportation.

We stayed for two weeks leading up to Christmas. The location can not be beat. Steps from Via dei Coronari, Piazza Navona, the Vatican, a taxi stand, shops and restaurants too numerous to count. Sara and Emanuele were incredibly attentive and helpful. At the midpoint of our stay, our sheets, fluffy towels and the apartment was refreshed. Three of us (adults) had plenty of room despite one bathroom. The shower and toilet are in separate rooms, so it was not a problem at all. We didn’t spend much time in the kitchen, but there is a full refrigerator, oven and cook top. Coffee pods were provided for the espresso maker and most kitchen tools you would need for your stay. Very quaint lovely apartment with lots of character and charm! We loved it and would certainly pick this place again.

Great Location!

The location was amazing. Close to pretty much anything a tourist or fan of history would want to see. Four story climb to the apartment, so make sure you're in shape and don't require wheels to maneuver!

Great stay, comfy place in a great location

We stayed here (4 adult friends) and could not have been happier. Great communication with property manager before staying, easy check in and super amazing place. We loved the convenient location, so much really close by. Comfy beds, enough space for us to be comfortable. It was fun getting up and down the steps with luggage, but we managed! Would def recommend.

Lovely location

My family of 5 comfortably stayed at this historic apartment with the essential upgrade of air conditioning, modern kitchen and washing machine. We loved the central location allowing us to walk to the Vatican, Colosseum and Trevi fountain. Tons of delicious options right outside the door. Lastly, the beds were very comfortable to sleep in after a day full of soaking up the Italian culture. We would definitely stay here again. Grazi!

A wonderful place!

This is a lovely apartment, centrally located in the heart of Rome. We were within walking distance to both the Coliseum and the Vatican, and everything else we could squeeze into our too short stay!!! We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the Rome experience!!

Quaint & convenient to all we wanted to see.

We had 4 days in Rome and this place was perfect for easy access to the sites we wanted to see & some fantastic restaurants. Sara was our contact and she was so sweet & prompt at helping and answering our questions. The beds were incredibly comfortable & the apartment was perfect for the 4 of us. If we go back to Rome again, we will stay again! The parking was a little bit of a walk, but our vehicle was safe and we didn’t need the car.

Lovely Castle like Apartment

Our kids love stairs so this was great for them. Close walk to the Vatican, Castle San Angelo, best Gelato and delicious Cafes. Felt very safe as there were a few secure doors to enter. Not for the handicap because of all the stairs.❤️

Great location, quiet neighborhood, could be cleaner.

The location of this spacious apartment is fantastic. Check-in easy. Beds were comfortable. Only issue is that it was not the cleanest (part of that was just because it was older, and old Roman plumbing is pretty awful and smells bad). I would still recommend this place, especially if you are just using it to sleep and maybe cook a fast meal or two.
