"La Maison de Coronaire" is a cozy and very quiet 16th-century apartment located on a picturesque Italian street considered one of the top 10 most beautiful streets in the world! It’s near Castel Sant’Angelo and Piazza Navona and is on the 4th floor with a rooftop balcony offering breathtaking views of Rome’s historic rooftops!

Located in the heart of the “Eternal City,” just a short stroll from Castel Sant’Angelo and Piazza Navona, “La Maison de Coronaire” is a 16th-century apartment that places you right in the heart of the city’s most elegant neighborhood and immerses you in the history and beauty of Rome. It’s located on what Architectural Digest considers one of the top 10 most beautiful streets in the world! Guests can visit Rome’s most important monuments on foot and explore the many tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, and shops in the area.

Transforming what was once a rustic rooftop dwelling into a contemporary retreat in the heart of Rome, this 75-square-meter apartment offers a fresh, laid-back take on city living. This cozy apartment was completely renovated by a famous Italian architect who reimagined the interiors for modern living, using materials and subtle design updates—such as original beams and contemporary golden frames—that pay homage to the historic past. The exposed rustic beams and ancient frames are paired with both contemporary and period-style elements, including prestigious murals.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor WITHOUT AN ELEVATOR. It features two double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and a cozy living room with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. On the top floor, accessible via the building’s staircase, there is a large rooftop terrace overlooking the breathtaking landscape of the Eternal City.

With 2 double beds and a French-style sofa bed, the apartment can accommodate up to six guests. We personally recommend having either 1 adult or 2 children sleep on the sofa bed.

To make our guests feel extra special, we also offer the following services:
- €100 for hotel amenities (bedding, towel sets, toiletries, etc.)—mandatory fee
- Early check-in starting at 10:30 AM (luggage drop-off only; please send us a message first to check availability)
- Return transfer from the airport/train station/port/etc.
- Luggage storage upon check-out
- Skip-the-line tickets, tours, and authentic Roman experiences such as cooking classes, wine & aperitivo tours, etc.
- Bike, Vespa, etc. rentals
- Restaurant and bar recommendations (non-touristy)
- Linen change / mid-stay cleaning
- Baby crib & high chair
