Remember this is not a hotel - it is a private apartment. The apartment is newer and ikea furnished. And you are in Rome where life is different from wherever you live. We stayed for 11 days.
Linens are not changed - you can hire a cleaning service to clean/change linens and bring fresh towels. Chiara was a gem, she did have the service come and deliver some additional towels.
There is a washer but you use a drying rack to dry anything you wash. Sometimes this can take a long time, especially for towels.
There is a grocery store a few blocks away - for necessities such as extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc. We purchased a few things and left them for the next person.
No doorman that we saw, and while people did not always completely shut the downstairs door, the apartment is in a very safe area and were we very comfortable.
The entry needs some additional lighting and updating, the lift, while easy to use has limitations as to numbers of people and weight - this is NOT unusual in Italy. These are older buildings.
As it is an apartment, there can be noise - children crying, dogs barking - after all people live there.
Showers could use something, a table or a hanger to put your soap, shampoo, washcloth, etc on.
We had a great time and would strongly consider renting here again.
Thank you Chiara for being so warm and welcoming to these novice Italian travelers. Grazie
