Salve. Location was amazing. Easy to park a scooter in the via. Close to many famous landmark and restaurants (osteria di ponte was 2 mins by walk and was our fave). Clean, big and very authentic. Ceilings in stones, woods, ceramic. It smelled a bit humid, but nothing to refrain us to rent the location again in the future. Laundry machine on location was handy and appeciated. The little water fountain close by was a plus. 5 stars for us. Grazie e arrivederci

Great place to stay in the heart of Rome

We were looking for somewhere comfortable and central to stay in the city of Tome. Somewhere that we could walk to most of the locations we needed to and that was cool at night when we slept. This location was perfect and offered exactly what we needed. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was cold. It is centrally located within easy walking distance of Vatican City, Castle Sant’Angelo, The Pantheon, The Colosseum and The Roman Forum. There are great places to dine and drink all over central Rome and this place provided easy access to everything. We felt very safe and comfortable here

The apartment was very dark as it had no access for the natural sunlight. It was damp, even the beds felt damp. The mattresses were very thin and not very comfortable.The location was good for the places we wanted to visit.

Great Location

This apartment was central to all of the Rome attractions, some within walking distance & close to public transit for others.Although lovely, we found it very dark as it didn't have any natural light coming into the apartment. The ceiling is brick giving it kind of a dungeon feel. The shower head is broken & just kind of dangles on the hose, must be hand-held.The kitchen has bare minimum supplies so if you plan to cook, you'll need to bring extras. The sponge in the sink is dirty there were no napkins, paper towel, kleenex, I think there was 1 role of toilet paper. No wine glasses which seemed odd to us.There is a sign on the wall telling you no talking is permitted after 11pm because they don't want you disturbing the locals who live in the building. Not suitable for a family or for young groups wanting to have a few laughs in the evening.

When we arrived at this property, we could not stay. It smelled of mildew. Beds were very damp. It was misrepresented as two-bedroom and has only one. Kitchen area was small. VRBO worked with us to get out of this rental.a.dold

Roma Fantastico!!

Thie was our 1st ever VRBO outside of the U.S. so needless to say I was nervous. Upon arrival everything was as it should and looked exactly as pictured and stated in booking details. The space was absolutely perfect no issues at check in or checkout and oh my the space is better than the pictures very spacious with plenty of sleeping space for mutliple guest. Only small negative would be bed mattresses could be improved, but nevertheless a great stay and beautiful apartment.

DISAPPOINTMENT NOT SUITABLE IF 4 FRIENDS

We were supposed to be 4 friends and finally left with 2. There is only one real bedroom. The convertible sofa is in the kitchen while it was planned 2 real bedrooms. The kitchen utensils are worn and very damaged. The dishes need to be changed. Apart from that it is well located

Our stay in Rome

We did stars for every question except for the cleanliness. The only thing that could have made it a 5 star, is if the floors were cleaner. Otherwise, it was great. The host was super helpful with our requests and replied very quickly to our emails. We would certainly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in the heart of Rome. The only tiny issue were the mosquitoes at night at the property. It was a lovely place and close to everything a tourist would want to see. Thank you Elina.

Les consigne d’arrivée n’était vraiment pas clair. Appartement 6, alors que c’était le 5. L’appartement est très bruyant. On entend tous les bruits de la rue et de l’escalier qui monte au deuxième. Pour la propreté et le confort s’était correct. Bien situé.

Right in the heart of City Center

This was an amazing first stop on our Italy trip. The alley/street the house is on was quiet but so close to restaurants and shops, it was perfect! We traveled with our 14 and 11 year old kids and there was plenty of room and comforts. The AC blew cold, the freezer was big enough to freeze our water bottles. We had an amazing stay and we’ll be back for sure!

Deceiving unit description and photos

My friends and I stayed in for three nights in July 2024. We were frustrated by several factual errors between the listing and the reality of the space. The address is incorrect in the listing. It’s listed as having two bedrooms. There is one bedroom with two beds. In the living/dining/kitchenette there is another bed. This is shown as a couch, but is in fact a futon bed. There is only ONE bedroom. The photos of the listing are deceiving. The air conditioning unit only reaches the bedroom and not the bathroom or living room. The apartment was damp when we arrived. It was very musty and we found mold in the bathroom. Several items that were indicated did not exist, examples include a dryer (there is a washer) but because of the dampness of the apartment, we had no faith that anything would dry in a few days' time. There was also not a coffee pot or a hot tub. The apartment is a basement/cellar unit and doesn’t have any natural light. This isn’t clear from the listing. The wifi is slow. It couldn’t keep up and this was both frustrating and dangerous. Because the unit is a basement, we were unable to use phone data and had to rely on wifi alone. Additional taxes are required by every city in Italy. However, these were not collected at check in or check out. The host asked us to leave the cash on the table in the kitchen. They collected the cash, but not at the time that they said they would. And they left no receipt. The way this was handled felt like an invasion of our privacy

Excellent location

Perfect location to walk everywhere we wanted to see. We thought there would be a dryer based on the listing, but there was only a washer. Other than that, we had everything we needed in a beautiful historical building.

First time to Rome

Convenient to all of the historic sites. A large choice of restaurants, gelato shops and shopping in the neighborhood. The street just outside the door is very noisy at night. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was wonderful. No fault of the host, the bus we were told to take was not running the day we arrived. It took a lot of walking with luggage to find the place. Would stay there again due to the location.
