The communication was excellent! Fabrizio was helpful and quick. He also helped us book transfers that worked well and were reasonably priced. The location could not have been better. We walked almost everywhere we wanted to go. The air conditioning worked well, even with extreme heat outside. The only complaints were regarding the main bedroom with adjoining bathroom. The wifi did not reach that room, the bed was extremely hard, and there were two flat pillows to sleep on. Very minor improvements would have made us a lot more comfortable, however, the stay was still overall comfortable.

The apartment is in a great location. Upon arriving we were greeted by a very nice lady and 2 flights of spiral stairs (not easy to carry luggage up). The apartment was okay, it certainly could have been cleaner. The shower had noticeable mold. The washer/dryer was awful. The machine was loud, and I had to hold during the spin cycles so it would not come bouncing out of the closet. We could never figure out how to use the dryer and all the cycle options were over 3 hours unless you selected the rapid cycle which didn't dry the clothes. Quite near to the centre. Surrounded with good eating places. Modern but getting a bit tired. Comfortable beds. The single bedroom smelled of drains.Our apartment was on the second floor accessed by a steep spiral staircase unsuitable for children, carrying heavy bags or anyone with a bad back or mobility problems.A lot of fines for behaviour they don't like. It said on-line that if we turned up without cash to pay the city tax we wouldn't be allowed in.There should be a warning on line about the stairs.

We had a great stay as it is in the heart of the historic part of Rome. Almost all the attractions are a short walk away so you sightsee in the morning, relax at that apartment in afternoon and head out again for evening. The apartment is surrounded with eateries, pizza places and gelatariws.

Great location, close to many attractions. The property was clean but dated. We were surprised by the tight steep spiral staircase to get up to the apartment. Don't bring to many luggage if you are renting this place.

This flat was absolutely perfect for our group of five visiting Rome for a few days. It is located in the perfect neighborhood with so many shops, bars, restaurants, and attractions starting just steps from the door. Has all of the amenities you could want for what is likely going to be the limited time you want to spend indoors for your stay.

The neighborhood is fantastic and the apartment is walking distance to just about everything we wanted to see. We had plenty of room for a family of four and the check in process was seamless. We will definitely come back!

Without doubt, the best thing about the Fico Blu apartment is its location, which is amazing - especially at the price: right in the heart of the historic centre of Rome and walking distance to almost all the major attractions. Great restaurants, gelaterias and nightlife right on the doorstep, yet the apartment itself is quiet. We had a great stay at the apartment. Fabrizio and Umer were very helpful prior to our arrival and during the check in/check out processes. Despite the crazy heatwave engulfing the city during our stay, the air conditioning throughout the apartment was effective and we stayed comfortable. A minor gripe was that the floors could've used a mop, and some of the dishes/cutlery had bits of dried food stuck to them. Also, be aware that if bringing a car, you'll need to leave it at a parking lot outside of the historic center and bring your luggage to the apartment on foot or by taxi - the Via Giulia Parking Lot is around a 10 minute walk away and EUR38 per day.

Fabrizio was great. Easy to communicate with. Arranged transport from the airport. Met representative at the appartment and received keys, instructions and tips about local restaurants. Location is amazing. Most historic sites within a short walk. Right between Vatican and Pantheon/Navona/Trevi
 huge plus is a Taxi stand a block away, for those who want to limit walking to sites a bit further away, like Colloseum/Forum. Great overall

Location was central which was nice and i loved that there were some healthier restaurants (that had vegan/vegetarian food) very close. Our stay was fine so it wasn't a bad experience. I just think the listing description needs to be updated as we relied upon it in making our choice to stay. It was listed as 4 bedrooms though and it had 3 plus a pull out couch in the main area where the kitchen was. And to get to the apartment, it was a very narrow spiral staircase up a couple flights and with heavy luggage, it was very difficult. And to get out of the apartment, you had to use a key - what if there was a fire? That may be something folks are used to in Europe but it was not comfortable if a family is staying there and a couple people want to go out taking the keys when you needed a key to get out of the building. The beds were also hard as a rock. I was able to sleep because i took a thick comforter and folded it twice and slept on that. I know beds tend to be harder in Europe so some folks won't mind, but i would not have slept were it not for that comforter. I was also told by the owner that we could store luggage 2 months prior as we were arriving early. I checked back on that as we were boarding our flight to Rome and i was referred to a property manager who told me we could not store luggage. So the mixup between the owner and the property manager had us scrambling. I will say that they helped us to find nearby luggage storage so it was fine.

Location enables walking to fruit market, grocery stores, restaurants. Even better is nearness of Paintings inside three cathedrals. A quiet street perfect for getting to the classic tourist sites. A good place for five fit adults to relax, cook, eat, sleep, tourist shop and take tourist photos. Has a good property manager.
