We wanted to stay away from known hotel chains and have a Turkish experience and we were looking for a location close to main historical sites since we only had 3 days to explore Istanbul. We were happy with our choice - the location of Armada hotel is perfect - very close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi palace. The hotel is clean and beds were comfortable. The terrace is beautiful - with the view of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque on one side and the sea view on the other side. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They hotel offers very good breakfast and opportunity to have dinner and drinks on the terrace enjoying the view. In addition, there are many options for dining and drinks nearby. We would definitely come back!

"Did not get the chance to check in because I did not have a boarding pass. BE AWARE, this hotel is located in the transit area that needs boarding pass to get in. That's why they call it AirSide!
