Villa Fortuna palatsliknande villa vid den vita sandstranden i Half Moon Bay, Casa Fortuna är idealiskt beläget framför ett blomstrande korallrev som erbjuder några av de bästa snorklingarna i Akumal.

Casa Fortuna, utformad 2014 av en av Mexikos högsta arkitekter, erbjuder 7000 kvadratmeter modernt vardagsrum med öppen och luftig utsikt över den orörda stranden och det azurblå havet. Specialbyggda möbler, beställd konst, ett stort gourmetkök, high-end-högtalare och en riklig strandpool gör denna villa en fantastisk, fristående fastighet. Bäst av allt, villan har 6 rymliga havet vetter sovrum, alla med en privat balkong och fullt marmorbad. Alla rum är också utrustade med en 43 "plattskärms-TV / DVD. Alla delar av villan är luftkonditionerade.

Två stiliga mahogny matbord sitter upp till 18 personer vardera; erbjuder gott om matsal kapacitet både inomhus och ut på uteplatsen.

Från den rymliga takterrassen kan gästerna på Casa Fortuna njuta av 360 ° utsikt över det mousserande Karibiska havet i öster och den frodiga Mayan Jungle i väster. De kan också njuta av en natt med tyst stargazing genom ett Celestron teleskop med 5-tums bländare. För dem som föredrar att festa under stjärnorna, erbjuder terrassen också kapacitet för 25 personer med bekväma möbler, en inbyggd bar och ett badkar.

På sena sommarmånaderna nestlar dessa sköldpaddor längs Half Moon Bay. Faktum är att Akumal är ett Maya-ord som betyder "Sköldpaddans plats" och många gäster på Casa Fortuna har haft turen att se en stor mamma sköldpadda hänga upp på stranden för att lägga hennes ägg eller har tittat på månsken som hundratals sköldpaddor utbröt från deras bo och krypterade tillbaka till havet.

Framily Spring Break

We stayed in this house with 2 other families for spring break. The house was perfect for us. It was big enough that we never felt like we were on top of each other and we all had plenty of our own space. The house is located in a neighborhood where we could walk to several shops and restaurants. We hired Chef Daveed services and Samuel and Gabby took care of us all week. I can’t recommend them enough! Only downside for us was the beach is very rocky so it’s not a space where the kids could play football, etc. Once you get out into the water past the rockiness there is an incredible reef to snorkel. We absolutely loved this house!

Awesome vacation

The property was awesome. It fit our needs perfectly. One bedroom on first floor perfect for our 80 year old mother so no climbing stairs. Elevator was not working but probably a good thing as the younger kids would not abuse it. The beach area was smaller than we expected but still wonderful view from the house to the ocean. Most photos taken were from the palm tree in front of pool. Awesome views. Staff was great and pleasant. We would return if we take another family trip to Akumal.

Girls Trip

We enjoyed the property and its space was on point. The areas to relax inside and out were just what our group needed. The house staff was friendly and attentive. The management group was so helpful and no ask was too big or small. We will be back!

Excellent

Great location - away from the chaos of Cancun but not so far as to be hard to reach. Close to Tulum and lots of cenetos (Aktun Chen was the highlight of our trip - don't miss it) and other cool stuff. Akumel downtown is an easy walk and has groceries, etc. Plenty of nice restaurants within a short walk. Great house - perfect for our large family - lots of big rooms and also spacious living area downstairs for us to all congregate. The rooftop deck is a wonderful bonus. Chef Daveed service was very professional and delicious - we used them for dinners and fended for ourselves for other meals. Staff was very attentive and quickly dealt with the occasional minor glitch to internet or whatever. Pool, kayaks, snorkel gear all excellent. Highly recommend!

The pictures do not do it justice

We had the most incredible time at Villa Fortuna! The house is stunning, the view is fabulous and the location is perfect! We felt so safe, free to explore, and it was amazing to have this house (instead of a resort) so the kids could go relax at their will, play like crazy in the pool, and having the beach to ourselves was so special. We will definitely be back! I would recommend renting a car, as transportation via taxi/Uber was much more expensive than we expected. The restaurants that are within walking distance were fantastic! We use Chef David services and it was one of the highlights of the trip! The Cenote tours and Mayan ruins tour were so memorable - highly recommend. The house is cleaned every day (except Sunday) by Ruth and Carlos ~ they are the sweetest couple and they did such a great job keeping us organized/clean. The house is well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen (lots of dishes/wine glasses, etc. This was one of the best vacations we have every had. We totally fell in love with Akumal ~ I’m glad we needed up in Akumal instead of Tulum bc it was slower paced, very chill and quaint. Thank you again for such a phenomenal vacation!

Great house

Great property, beautiful house, excellent pool and friendly helpful staff. Very safe. The barbecue and the stove/ oven are in bad shape, as well as the frying pans. Nice restaurants very close by as well as a little store.

Wonderful Casa Fortuna

We had a great stay at Casa Fortuna. Our group was 4 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 babies, and the property was perfect. Easy beach and pool access was great for the kids. The pool was big enough for lap swimming. The grassy area was wonderful for the kids to play on. And the rooms/house had everything we needed for a vacation home. The location is close to a cute coffee shop, 3-4 great restaurants, and an awesome cenote. We also used the recommended chef services for a few special meals, which were amazing.

Pleased beyond expectations

The pictures of the inside don't do it justice. I was impressed to see the beauty of the property. Everything was as expected and more. I was really happy I picked this location because of the walkability of the area and how quiet and calm the neighborhood is. The staff prior to arrival were always responsive which added to the enjoyment I experience upon arriving. I had ordered groceries prior to arrival which was a relief to help us get settled. I had reserved a golf cart the day of arrival, but I had the ability to do so prior, which I would recommend if you need one. I also ordered food service with Chef Luis Martinez and Erendira which was extremely delicious and wish I could've ordered more of their services. Accessing the amenities of the property was extremely easy and when there were issues like the power being shut off. I was able to get in touch with the staff and with Carlos help get it back on within a few hours. The housekeeper was cleaning the house ever day and she did a great job considering how large the place is and how many people stayed with us. Overall I am really happy with the entire experience and Akumal will have a special place in my heart. The whole reason for our stay was having our commitment ceremony in a nearby cenote. And we were able to enjoy the beach, food, animals, Yalku-Lagoon, and beautiful culture and people.

Beautiful, private beachside

This entire experience was a success. The house was spectacular: amenities too many to list. Housekeeping excellent, bikes and water gear great to have in place, and the town a fun place to explore. Activities were very close, but we had the most fun hanging by the beautiful pool. Highly recommend.

Simply Wonderful!

This was just a perfect place for the family to get together for a birthday and holiday celebrations. The villa is beautiful, every bedroom was spacious and offered a beautiful view of the sea and the sunrise in the morning . The open living/ dining area allowed kids of different ages to have different activities at the same time (i.e. teenage phone time and younger kids playing board games). Having the beach right in front meant that we could jump in the water at any time for a swim or snorkel...huge plus for our group. Ruth and Carlos kept the villa spotless. Another big plus was being able to walk to numerous restaurants close by. So...great villa, great location...looking forward to a return

Best Home on the Beach!

We spent a week in October 2021 at this absolutely lovely home. Its very large, and the 6 master suites left everyone with a lot of privacy and comfort. The kids spent the entire week in the pool and the snorkeling was divine right out the back door. Its nice to see some brain corals and fan corals coming back. Be sure to use Reef Safe sunscreen if you get in the ocean, or better yet, wear no chemicals, just a sun shirt to protect the bay and corals. The house was just perfect. We hired a personal chef to come 2 nights and they cooked a feast that we will never forget. The caretakers Carlos and Ruth were there each day. They were so kind and helpful at every opportunity. Please plan to tip them well. They now have a paypal account to make that easier. We will be back to this house for sure!!

Villa fortuna

Beautiful!! Well laid out. Ocean view spectacular. Very disappointed we were not made aware the elevator didn’t work. Bicycles were in poor condition.

Great location and house

This house is perfect for large parties. We had 3 families with 11 total and we all had enough room to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The house is right on the beach so the kids could snorkel, paddle board but also had a large pool to relax in as well The house was clean and very modern/updated. Overall I would highly recommend for a great place to relax and unwind.

Perfect house for family of 10

This is a beautiful property in a great location. Booking and communication with the rental agency and staff was great and we had everything we needed, including booking a private chef for Thanksgiving! Highly recommend this place if you want a high end getaway with family or friends.

Akumal Paradise

First trip to Akumal. Won't be the last. Position of the house was the best in half moon bay. Sunsets and night time stargazing from the roof was exceptional.
