“Property very convenient for beach and town”

“We wanted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and would normally have gone somewhere hot for this milestone but with Covid we are still not prepared to fly anywhere, so were looking for something different to just a ‘hotel room’, I saw this advertised on Expedia, and it looked to be just what we were looking for, a bit of luxury in a tranquil setting, just the down time we needed after a busy year. “Vi hade ett helt fantastiskt rum/svit! Mycket trevlig personal som gjorde sitt bästa för att ta hand om oss. Vad vi inte hade förstått var att det var ett koncept med en holiday resort. Nånting vi knappt utnyttjade, kanske hade gjort det lite mer om den inte hade stängt så tidigt på kvällen. Resorten låg en liten bit bort, men man fick skjuts dit och tillbaka när man ville. Eller så kunde man gå.”

“New management has made many upgrades to the property. This was the first time I visited, so I didn't miss the old quirks; I found the place delightful. The Snug is a lovely lounge with wood-burning fire that was great for a cold night. I'm sure the outside tables would be lovely in warm weather. The location right next to the footbridge is charming. I stayed in room 2; the bathroom was a bit small and awkward, but I understand they have to work with the structure that's there.”
