“The pictures of the houseboat in the ad were accurate - it is very nice and immaculately clean. The landlord is nice and very helpful and responded very quickly to our every question/concern. It also is in a very nice location - we were very happy we spent the extra money to stay in the canal district ON a canal - another thing off my bucket list!”

Leider nur eine verwirrende Anleitung zur Elektriztät vorhanden.Nach einem langen Videotelefonat konnten wir klären wie Warmwasser funktioniert. Vermieter wünschte danach nicht mehr gestört zu werden. Fotoanleitung wäre schön gewesen. Das Foto in der Anzeige entspricht nicht dem Boot in dem wir waren. War viel älter aber gemütlich”

Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. “We booked through Expedia a two bedroom boat house on the canal. I expected to be able to stand in the bedroom. The so called second bedroom waa in the floor, you lift the floor and go down about 4 stairs and have to climb into a couple bucks. This was not what was advertised. We asked to get our money back as this was not acceptable for 2 70 year olds. My Grandson and his girl where traveling with us, he's 6'2' and truly couldn't fit that space either. “Indeed a unique experience. Check in was simple. The apartment was clean and tidy, with all the basics that you might need for a short stay. The host company was very friendly and responsive (online). It got quite warm inside due to the warm, sunny weather. Fans were provided, but I imagine that it would be challenging to stay cool in the summer. Overall, would happily visit again.”
