“We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride...

“If you like the beach and water sports and activities, be aware that summer is not the time to visit Secrets Maroma. The beach and the surf is jam packed with seaweed. It is a heavy, brown seaweed called sargassum, and the water and sand is disgusting. The resort does their best to take it away, with machinery running all day long, but it keeps washing in. Everything else about this resort is exquisite! Food, service, facilities, and more!”

“All the staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Bar tenders work extremely hard so be sure to tip. Pools were clean and food was decent.”

“Fabulous all inclusive resort. Everything is clean and up to date. Staff was extremely friendly. Food was well above average for this type of resort. After being a twenty + year fan of Sandals resorts, I do not think we will return to them after visiting this resort. This is our new place for the foreseeable future. If you have any interest in history or archaeology, I highly recommend an excursion to Chichen Itza. Just be prepared for the heat and humidity.”

“The hotelrooms are really old. We had so many issues with our room so they got a new one. First night the AC was so cold and could not change the temperature (talking about a temperature around 15 c). Next day the toilet was flooded with water coming from the ceiling. Third day at the new room the AC was not working at all. Food was generally good, breakfast one of the best I ever had. The French restaurant and the lobster house were both excellent. Avoid Flavour market (Spanish), worst paella...

“We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was very quiet, which made it easy to relax, and the location was perfect close to everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows made for a great night's sleep. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others. Samuel was really helpful.”

“Biggest problem is that it’s in the middle of nowhere so unless you know for sure you’re there for the wakeboarding, I would not stay there. Other than that the room was pretty ample and nice. Food was fine.”

“It is a new construction, the room was amazing, really clean, with ocean view, the pool really nice. The only thing that it was a big minus is that the Wi-Fi wasn't working in our room, we notified the front desk clerk and went to our room to try to fix it but couldn't be fixed and in that area my phone didn't have good reception there, other than that it was great. ”

“Great hotel, lonely located, empty, no activity by the evenings :( Great service, very expensive food and drinks. Tasty food. You should get all inclusive. Big plus that your allowed to make some food in the room with microwave and big fridge. Very hard beds :( Nice beautiful beach”
