“Good, clean rooms. Be very careful with the location though, as the gps coordinates from hotels.com are totally off and will send you to the middle of nowhere. The correct location is the official address, not the gps nor the google maps provided from hotels.com.”

“We had a wonderful time at the Old Church Farm. The grounds are very green and peaceful. Very comfortable beds and great hosts! A gem in the area. Do not skip on the breakfast! a fantastic experience”

“Nice Hotel. A bit dated in the room I was in, but still had everything you need and was a comfortable nights sleep.”

“The hotel smelled of humidity. The TV in the room didn't work. I went to change the remote control 4 times. Finally, I asked them to test it in the room to see if it worked. They put the remote control down and left. I went upstairs and the TV still didn't work. Since I can't sleep without a TV, it was important to me. The hotel is definitely not worth the price they are asking. And they are especially asking for extra parking from the customers who have already stayed”

“The check in staff were friendly and professional. Our room was large but needed updating. The mattress needed replacing and the sofa was very stained. The toilet didn’t flush very well and the shower pressure was weak. The curious kitchen staff were very efficient and friendly especially our waiter Cris from Italy. “Self-catering accomodation. Quiet neighbourhood central in Chepstow. Very nice bathroom and shower, room clean but very tight, no place for luggage. Extremely steep and narrow stairs, not for those with mobility issues. ;) Nice little backyard, modern and equipped kitchen. Bed smelled weird (sour). Ok (apart from the smelly bed), but expensive for what you get.”

“Set in beautiful grounds, good hearty breakfast clean bedding and towels. Hotel is a lovely old place and would benefit from a slight redecorate. Carpets need to be cleaned at the edges if this was done then 5 star from me. I will stay again next time I am in the area. Good night's sleep on very comfy beds”
