Smelly, dirty, falling apart
I sent an email when we arrived and received no answer so had to send a text. The floors were dirty and I had to sweep them. There was styrofoam all over the floors and stairs, as well as the half wall in the loft. We bought candles the next morning because the cabin was very musty and mildewy smelling. There are rodents here as well- I wiped off the kitchen table before we went to bed and there were droppings on it the next morning. The linens smelled lovely, though. I asked if someone could come out sometime during our stay( no one ever came), I could show them all the cobwebs and piled up dirt and Sheetrock dust; the lower kitchen cabinets are crumbling at the base and the bathroom cabinets are crumbling as well; I am trying to be constructively critical and not hateful. Overall, the cabin has a dirty/ icky feel and smell to it but we made the best of the rest of our stay in spite of the shortfalls the cabin had.
