“This is an old school cabin that was very comfortable. The cabin had seen better days (flooring) but great hot water, microwave, and a refrigerator. We were in cabin 3 and our covered porch had a great view of the water and the main intersection of West End. Our maid was top notch and took great care of us. Satellite tv gave us both the AFC and NFC Championship games. There is an Argentina restaurant around the corner that had the best grilled skirt steak -we went back three times! A wonderful...

“This place is awesome. A wooden lodge in the middle of the jungle might not be everyones cup of tea, but if it is yours, you are in for a treat. The people at Omega is very nice and there are daily tours of different kinds. But the main thing is location in the jungle. Not a luxury lodge. But a wonderful place all in all.”

“This is the type of place you go to get away from everyday life. It is tranquil, relaxing, quiet and you get treated like family by both the owner and the other guests that seem to come back again, and again. The hot spring feeds the main pool and hot tubs which will help you relax. I will say, the location is a bit remote and if you plan on traveling to this resort, you should plan accordingly. “The Reef House is in a quiet part of the island. We went for relaxation and diving. The first night we snorkeled at night in the ocean pool and saw octapus, shrimp, flounder, small eels, and huge urchins. My older son wanted to fish, so they arranged a day of fishing and visiting a shallow area where nurse sharks and rays hang out, so we got to snorkel with them. We caught a bunch of tuna and they cooked it up for us for dinner. We went during the end of August, which is the slow time. ...

“Gorgeous location and beautiful property. Great breakfast and wonderful staff. The road leading to the location is a bit rough, but doable. Walking outside the hotel isn't super easy.”
