Marilyn’s romantic getaway. Newly remodeled and classically furnished. Reclining sofa and loveseat, fireplace, bar, queen size pillow top mattress. Screened in lanai, with wine chiller on the porch. BBQ grill and lawn furniture. Washer and dryer in the garage, and golf cart available. Classically decorated with opulence that only Marilyn Monroe herself would settle for. We have stayed here once before 2 years ago. It was another great stay. Home is clean and comfortable. If you are someone who likes to sleep in I suggest bringing an eye mask as the bedroom gets full sun in the morning and there are no black out curtains.

Perfect

Marilyn's place was the perfect location to Lake Sumter and Spanish Springs on the golf cart that was provided. The house was clean the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need (but we really didnt use it). If you forgot something the house was sure to have it. Very quiet neighborhood we hardly seen anyone around. The only complaint I have was the bed was to hard for our liking.. We both would wake up with back aches (or my whold body) and slept out on couches our last 2 nights. Mark was a good host with answering questions i had before arrival to checking in with us during our stay. Definitely recommend Marilyn's place for your stay!

Great house and great host!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights while we checked out The Villages. This house was exactly as described and had every little thing we could have needed! Mark answered all our questions quickly, and even arranged guest passes for us. Golf cart was a great bonus!

Great place to stay. Very quiet and perfect for 2 people. Golf cart was a huge plus and used multiple times to drive to Spanish springs and Lake Sumter Landing. We couldn't have asked for anything better. It was a very clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay. Thanks to our great host Mark. We will definitely be returning for out next trip there.

Fun and very pleasant.

This was an adorable and whimsical tribute to Marilyn. The owners were there but not present til time to check out. Everything you could need was provided including bikes and golf cart. Highly recommend.

Great stay!

I had such a lovely time at Marilyn's place! I just wanted to say thank you for everything - from the calming music that greeted me when I arrived to the delightful surprise of M&Ms whenever I wanted and the super comfy bed. The place is so clean, and I felt so relaxed there. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Great House in Quiet Neighborhood

Marilyn’s was perfect for our stay. It was a good location for our visit with family and friends. The house was the right size for the two of us and had just what we needed - basic kitchen, washer and dryer, and large umbrellas for the Florida afternoon rain. The property was clean with a nice screened porch and the neighborhood was quiet so we slept well at night. I would definitely stay at Marilyn’s again!

The house is so clean, beautiful decor, very nice bed to sleep in ( it elevates and is extremely comfortable). Everything you need for a visit. We would stay there again in heartbeat. Highly recommend for a couple who is looking for a place to stay in the Villiages.

My wife and l cannot say enough about the great experience we had on our 10 day visit at Marilyn’s. Owner Mark and his wife Tiffany were extremely accommodating and friendly. The house on Montoya street was very, very clean, comfortable and such a great location in Lady Lake between Sumpter Lake and Spanish Springs where shopping and Restaurants are easily accessible. You will ABSOLUTELY NOT BE disappointed in the whole experience. We will definitely return for other future visits. Manny and Lina B.

Overall very good!

House was very clean. Some shampoo
 some soap and toothpaste supplied. Kitchen supplies
condiments , clothes detergent, toilet paper
 you will need to buy. For any home in Villages
 it would be good to better understand the golf cart paths
 give more instruction. We used the maps app on our phone and put in for đŸšČ since carts and bike paths are shared in The Villages. It took a a day or two to figure that out
 not all roads are golf cart friendly. Mark was great about switching out the bikes since we were having issues with the 2 that were there. Overall
 a good stay
 we would prefer 2 twin beds
 rather than one double
 but many may not feel the same.

Magnificent Marilyn’s place!

This VRBO was quaint, cozy and beautifully decorated! Location was perfect for getting to Spanish Springs and Sumter Landing, by way of either car or golf car that was provided! (This was an awesome amenity)! Mark was very helpful and a great host! We would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again!

My husband and I were very impressed with the cleanliness and the decor of this villa. It was a very nice place to stay and the owner was very accommodating. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. You can’t go wrong with the value and location of this property.
