They refused to honor the expedia rate. Wanted me to pay more and when i sent them a screenshot of the booking they said my rooms is not available and put me and my family in a smaller room and i had to pay cash/mpesa to even get in. Rip off. Stay away from them. They haven't even refunded my money so i apid twice. I can see the person online on Whatsapp and when i call they don't pick up calls. They Are Scammers Beware.

Basic but comfy

Instructions sent weren't great as the keypad was actually on the door handle and not to the right as given, managed to set off the alarm trying to get in! It also said free parking but when I got there all the street's needed a parking permit, when I phoned I was told I hadn't told them I was driving! Perhaps that should have been in the early instructions? Anyway I found a parking permit on the table in the living room and used that. Room was comfy, if not luxurious, table with the kettle on was very wobbly and probably not great to boil your kettle on. Bathroom was smart although the basin was small and leaning over it to brush my teeth I did bump my head a couple of times on the cabinet above it! But on the plus it was very close to anfield stadium which was the reason for my visit.

Terrible check in experience

Terrible service. Advertise parking, but could not get in contact with anyone at the hotel to arrange this (as it is just on street parking so requires a permit). Wasted half an hour trying to get in contact with someone, who advised they would ask someone to call me to arrange - this never happened. Lock box did not work, only managed to get into the property due to luck as the door was left open. Extremely overpriced. Would never consider staying here again, I'd advise anyone to give it a miss.

So near to Anfield and many Cafe and Pubs around for match day! This property is clean, easy to check-in, and everything is just great.

Would stay again but in a different room

Pros - extremely close to anfield stadium, immaculately clean throughout in room and all communal areas, responsive host who dealt with payment issues and any queries i had almost immediately. Cons - not sure if it was just the room i stayed in, room 6, but both bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally cold - to the point i couldnt shower and was putting towels on the radiator to wrap around me to try to get warm. The duvet was lovely and warm but getting out from under it was bitter cold, despite the radiator being on. Internet was non existenet, which was difficult when tv was all apps, so needed internet to function.

Our experience at TCO left much to be desired. The check-in process was unnecessarily slow because we didn’t receive any communication about the insurance deposit, causing confusion and delays. Once we got to our room, we found the beds to be uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s rest. Overall, between the check-in hassle and the poor quality of the beds, our stay was more frustrating than relaxing. The Manager was nice, though and allowed us to have a late checkout

Left stranded

I can not comment about anything regarding the property apart from it looked nice from outside. They took a payment of ÂŁ40 to secure the booking which Hotels.com said they shouldnt have. Asked me to provide details to pre-authorise a breakages damage which i did and had confirmation of . I was then asked to confirm that we were still going which again i did and it said i could check in on line . When i tried this it wouldn't do it but because i had everything confirmed i wasnt worried until we arrived at the apartment yesterday afternoon and despite ringing, leaving messages and sending an email asking them to get in touch asap no one did. Hotels.com also tried to contact them but didnt get an answer either. After 3 hours of trying to sort this out to no avail we managed to book somewhere else . No where near the venue which was the whole point of booking here . By the time we had checked in at the other place and then i drove back to the venue as it was to late and too far to walk it was 8.15pm when we managed to get into Anfield , we had missed all 3 support acts and only just managed to get sat down before Pink came on stage. All this really spoilt a trip away with my grandaughter . I still havent had any reply to my calls or email . We may have been unlucky with this place but its not good enough .

Was excellent for the location (two blocks from Anfield and right across the street from the Sandon.) However, the house WiFi does not work in unit #6, so that was a bit of a disappointment, although not a disaster.

The location was ideal for visiting the stadium. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cleanliness of the place was immaculate. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Anfield.

The room was really hot, there was a beeping noise coming from outside the room and the bathroom fan was on all night. We didnt get a great nights sleep but it was nice and clean. Also, it was confusing how to gain access to the property. The instructions arent clear.

Horrible ! Rooms are quite small- there was no hot water and no one at the property or available to address concerns. We had to leave a voice mail and email and no one responded! Would not recommend staying here!

Actual hotels are better.

This is not a hotel. It’s a poorly-run airbnb. You will find no pictures of the exterior because it’s just a normal English row house. That would be fine if there were someone to help if anything goes wrong. There is no one onsite. Most calls to customer service go to voicemail with messages unreturned and when I got a person on phone, her English up and booked something else. Be advised that if this happens to you, Expedia’s policy is no refunds.
