The Neighborhood:
East Dulwich is a charming, leafy neighbourhood in South East London known for its relaxed village vibe, independent shops, family-friendly atmosphere and strong local community. Just a short train ride from central London (14 minutes to London Bridge by train) it is the perfect base to also spend time in central London.

The heart of the area is Lordship Lane (a few minutes walk from your house) lined with cafes, gastropubs, boutiques, and the popular North Cross Road Market on Saturdays. You’ll find everything from organic grocers and bakeries to art shops and wine bars. A few favourites include Spinach for coffee and Blue Brick Cafe (vegetarian) for lunch, and the new wine bars Planet of the Grapes and Drop by East Dulwich station.

For green space, Peckham Rye Park and Dulwich Park are nearby—perfect for a stroll, picnic, or playground time. Dulwich Village is also a very charming neighbourhood which hosts the Dulwich Picture Gallery, and the Horniman museum and park (a south east institution!) is a short bus ride away.

East Dulwich Station is a short walk away and offers direct trains to London Bridge in just 14 minutes—ideal for commuting or exploring central London.
