“This cottage was perfect for 6 adults to watch the total solar eclipse together! It has a big deck front & back and we enjoyed it immensely! Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Close to small town of Conneaut Lake and the lakefront ( although it has no view). Meadville is nearby too with groceries and a great meat market, Malady’s. We loved our stay and were so happy the clouds cleared and we saw the total solar eclipse!! 🌖”

“It was cold early April. At night around 29 degrees, but up to 65 in the sunny afternoon. We were two couples and a dad with an 11 year old, which was an awkward fit for the space. The 11 year old was very happy with the small porch room with the day bed. The 56 year old dad tolerated the small upstairs room that was the gateway to the huge attic bedroom, where I and my partner slept. “Overall, things were very nice. A couple of things that would make things better: the beds are past their useable life. Everyone struggled to get comfortable and when they did, woke up with back pain. The rugs slid very easily, should have backings to keep them from sliding.”
