âOkay room size, quite comfortable bed, good shower, but man was that aircon noisy! It sounded like a jet plane was taking off, some sort of motor generator inside the wall in the room itself was powering the fan and that, unfortunately, brings down my overall rating of this hotel. The breakfast was mostly tasteless with the exception of the pineapple which was good, otherwise everything else available tasted of....nothing at all. Not overly impressed with this place, plus they add on 35 dollars...
âHotellet lĂ„g extremt lĂ„ngt utanför stan och det var jĂ€ttesvĂ„rt och dyrt att ta sig runt OM man inte har bil. Stranden var inte alls bra utan man fĂ„r ta sig ca 30 minuter med bil till en mycket bĂ€ttre eller gĂ„ 15 minuter till en som var helt okej. Killen i receptionen var dock extremt hjĂ€lpsam och erbjöd vĂ€ldigt god service sĂ„ tack vara han blev inte vĂ„ra nĂ€tter dĂ€r sĂ„ tokiga trots allt.â
âIt is very clean inside, the staff are very friendly. No parking if you have a car leave it down at the end by the police station or where the cruises come in donât risk getting towed. Very safe the door to get in locks after a certain hour and you can only get in with your room key. Someone is always at the front desk. Everything is within blocks itâs very convenient. Everyday our room was cleaned and we were given fresh towels and the bed was changed. â

âVilla Herencia is ideally located in old San Juan, and the hotel building has a long history, apart from being one of the most beautiful hotels weâve ever visited.
It is a boutique hotel in its purest form, perfect for people who want that little extra, the authentic old San Juan experience. Itâs probably less for families with small children and more for couples looking for a luxurious getaway, and golly, itâs perfect for the latter!

âThe hotel is beautiful and the staff was so kind. The restaurant on site has great food and drinks. The location is perfect, walking distance to shops, restaurants and historical attractions. â
âAlthough the place has no reception (please do not be fooled by the photo) the manager made excellent attempts at getting hold of me to talk me through the check-in process. This is a self service accommodation with codes which I had not been aware off (my fault for not reading). Once I contacted Jorge, I was easily able to enter the accommodation (all by entry codes). The best thing is that the bed was excellent. I slept like a baby. â

Not overly impressed with this place, plus they add on 35 dollars per night when you leave, so be warned it ends being up a more expensive stay than you think, even if you pay in advance. "
"LÀget Àr bra, nÀra strÀnder och Old San Juan. Vi hade ett rymligt rum med bra sÀngar och en balkong med havsutsikt. Men det var inte sÀrskilt rent pÄ rummet. Den utlovade frukosten rÀckte inte till alla gÀster, det saknades bröd, mjölk till kaffet mm. Servicen var ocksÄ undermÄlig. Vi bad om en ny glödlampa till en av lamporna pÄ rummet, dÄ den var trasig. Det kunde de tyvÀrr inte hjÀlpa oss med."
