“The cabin was renovated to an adorable cottage. The kitchen is equipped well enough to cook own meals. The main living room area is quite large. Couches are comfy. Meals are at the counter with wood bar stools. The king bed is hard as others mentioned. The front leads to the master bedroom. The back patio door is supposed to be the main entrance with a combo lock. The deck has a few missing rails and note to young families, the pic is real at end of open deck to water is about a 2 foot drop. ...

“Really enjoyed our stay at the Fairy Tale Cottage. Magic in every room. Spent an hour just exploring the cottage. We also loved feeding the goats and miniature horse on property. Kristi was a very responsive host and made sure our stay was perfect. ”

“Exactly what we were looking for! The Shire was perfect spot for our quick family get away. Close to everything but entertainment right on site. Kayaking the river - finding the old dam/waterfall, saw wildlife (deer, geese), fishing, ending the day in the hot tub then dinner around the fire. Holly was great help with ideas for entertaining a 14 yr old and things to do. Highly recommend!”

“We had plans to cross a bucket list item off the list on a 50th birthday celebratory weekend.Unfortunately Mother Nature had a torrential rain planned for our Rock City Gardens plan. This rain gave us an opportunity to spend quality time in the cottage. We grabbed a Breakfast Burrito and settled down in the cottage to binge a few episodes of Downton Abbey while waiting for the rain to subside. This cottage is amazing. “We had a wonderful stay at The Garden Cottage. It certainly lives up to its name! We loved walking the property and seeing the beautiful plants and a little wildlife. The location is excellent because it is close to town, Brow Park (gorgeous sunsets!!), and DeSoto Park. The cottage itself is adorable and the perfect size. The kitchen was a dream come true and I enjoyed baking in the double ovens.. the living room is comfortable, the bathroom was plenty big, and the beds were very comfy. We hope...

“My husband & I along with another couple stayed in The Outlook from Friday to Sunday. It was the perfect place! We loved the house, the location, the amenities, the cleanliness and the decor. We hope to visit again! As for Mentone, the shops were fun to visit & see all the creativity and arts. The Wildflower Cafe is a MUST as well as The Hatter. Mentone is a small quaint town that allows you somewhat be unconnected from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Definitely recommend The Outlook in...
