“Perfect hotel for a solo traveller! Very cool style and interesting place - i liked it a lot.
However:
Did not expect the restaurant to be closed. No room service or any opportunity to get water, coffee or similiar stuff at the hotel. I assume that the ongoing renovation (wich also was not communicated, will help) ”
“Much better than anticipated. Clean, relatively large room for New York. Great location for a first stay in the city. We don't care much about sound as we both find it soothening. But it wasn't very loud at all, I was expecting much much more while I was reading a lot of other reviews, the walls are thin though so it could be we just got very quiet neighbours.
The bad things I have to say is that the bed was worn out, I mean shrunk down in the middle and squeeky. No sorting of trash. And also...
“The Staff!! 5+ star engagement and enthusiasm. Felt genuine taken care of in our 5 day long stay.
The view from our room at the 14th floor, facing Hudson and down town was absolutely amazing, day and night!
The location is perfectly centered in Manhattan and easy to access various attractions and of course right in the middle of The Meatpacking vibe.
The breakfast at The Standard Grill is delicious and generous. Unfortunately not included and a bit pricey.
The only set back is the rooms.....
“Spent a long weekend in Manhattan with my wife. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue was that we couldn’t connect to WiFi from our room but it worked out when we finally got a prompt near the lobby. Nice view from Purple where we ate breakfast and drank cocktails in the evenings. ”
“We stayed 3 persons in the largest 4 person room, that was enough space. However, unless you were in your bed or in the bathroom, there was not really anywhere else to be in the room. Bathroom was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Location great. I would stay here again with my family, but maybe not on a romantic getaway.”
“Fantastiskt hotell, bra läge vid Chelsea market och många coola ställen att äta och uppleva downtown.
Minus på rummet var belysningsknapparna som gjorde att rummet inte var mörkt.

“Staff is outstanding. The front desk is superb, Tyra and Daniel. The cleaning staff, the lady from the Caribbean. Our room was immaculate. The smell was wonderful every time we walked into our room. Every detail was taken care of. We can’t wait to tell all of our friends and be back.”
“Great location and great service. Fast and friendly check-in and we got a great room on the 17th floor with lovely Manhattan views. Daily cleaning with new coffee and water. Me and my family highly recommend this hotel. ”
“The hotel was overall very nice and in a great location! Cleaning was very good and the room was confortable. However, we were 4 people in one room and sometimes wouldn't get the right amount of towels, despite pointing it out. We were also sometimes missing schampoo and shower things. Considering us being 4 people, it would have been good if we got more. The room has a kitchen, but there was some necessary kitchen supplies lacking. Overall however, a great stay!”
“We were greeted by the worst service ever at reception. The man at the desk were just rude to a few of us returning after a long night of work. The rooms were small, hard to get around in and the AC was too loud. ”

"Fräscht hotell med trevlig personal som ligger centralt. Nära tunnelbana.
Hotellet hade fått en stjärna till om det inte var för hissarna. Tog en evighet att åka upp och ner , man får vänta jättelänge. Alldeles för få hissar till antalet våningar och rum. "
"Bra hotell, lite få hissar för antal gäster och under vår tid var deras fina Rooftop bokat flera dagar (event). Men annars ett mycket bra och prisvärt hotell med bra WiFi och bra geografiskt läge"
