If you want to enjoy CR with a local feel and experience this is a place for you. The owners were responsive to questions and w/recommendations sheet to go. We loved CURU and the wildlife refuge, great hiking trails, great beach..”

Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. ”

“We love this VRBO for families. The pool and ocean access are wonderful. Unfortunately, the power went out and would have liked to have been given candles or lanterns as it was getting very dark. But has soon as I asked for them, the power was restored. Overall, great place to stay, ”

“Everything was dirty in the property, from the shower curtain full of black mold to coffee maker and fans. Streets are full of garbage outside, smell of sewages and garbage is everywhere. In the shower we found worms and spiders. They even did not have the cutesy of cleaning the dishes, we had to re-wash everything before use. It was horrible. We decided to leave for a hotel the last 5 days of our trip.”

“Communication on check in and check out was not timely. Was supposed to receive instructions the day before check in. I had to reach out to property owner to find out location and instructions for getting in. Same thing with check out. Challenges also locating reservation on Expedia”
