“It was a very pleasant experience. I personally didn’t like that a bathtub was missing and that the breakfast was served only at 7:30. At 7 was possible to eat only pre-cooked things and before than nothing. Was tough because I had to wake up at 6 and go to work early. “The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5.
The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite.
The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. If you need to drive into the city centre from the hotel at peak times this will take about an hour.

However there is a local area for shopping with places like Sainsburys and M&S, as well as local food spots too (which are really affordable).
