The location is great too - a short walk downhill into town and there is a local Spar just around the corner.Parking is a real bonus. “It’s in a good location but the road that runs along side it, is a bit noisy. When the cars are quiet, you can hear the waves which is nice. It’s in a good location as Portland has some lovely, slightly challenging walks but it’s also a good position to drive to many other lovely locations. Water sports nearby, we didn’t use the facilities but they looked great. Parking was slightly tricky but managed to get a space with a bit of patience!”

“Very well furnished and laid out property. Definitely will appeal to someone to get away from it all even a strong phone signal and the gps can't even find the street! But peace and quiet with the lovely aroma of the gardens with fresh cut flowers in every room made it all worth the drive. The only noise you will hear are the sheep and cows in the fields and the very rare passing of a tractor or one of the neighbors in their car. “We loved the cosy warmth of the wood burner on arrival. The open plan sitting & dining area was spacious enough to easily accommodate our party of 14 plus dogs. The hot tub was a big success as was having such easy access to the forest. A great weekend!”
