“We had the private suit with bunk beds and it was just right for us. The room itself was small but it served its purpose for what we needed - a clean place to sleep and shower, because we were not in the room that much. What we really loved about YHA was the great customer service, the location, the cleanliness and sustainability of the hostel, the big communal area with lots of dining tables, sofas, great views, a bar and kitchen if you wanted to buy something or alternatively the kitchen...

“The hostel is in a really convenient part of Llangollen and is a lovely house with great additional facilities, like a kitchen and lounge. Jamie is a really excellent host and made sure to check in with us that everything was ok - he couldn't have been more helpful. ”

“This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.”
