“One of my favorite places to stay! A little drive from the Airport but close to a local general store in Makawao. The hibiscus room is a private room facing the mountain and is absolutely peaceful. Everything needed to cook is readily available and the restroom/shower facilities are clean and available inside the lodge. “We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy.
