âOkay room size, quite comfortable bed, good shower, but man was that aircon noisy! It sounded like a jet plane was taking off, some sort of motor generator inside the wall in the room itself was powering the fan and that, unfortunately, brings down my overall rating of this hotel. The breakfast was mostly tasteless with the exception of the pineapple which was good, otherwise everything else available tasted of....nothing at all. Not overly impressed with this place, plus they add on 35 dollars...
âThe Hotel Colonial was an interesting and charming place to stay, with an excellent location. The rooms were pristine and well cared for, and the service stood out for being warm and personal. From the rooftop, you could even catch a distant view of the San CristĂłbal fort. The property has some quirky features, like 3 big bathtubs with showers on the roof. âHotellet lĂ„g extremt lĂ„ngt utanför stan och det var jĂ€ttesvĂ„rt och dyrt att ta sig runt OM man inte har bil. Stranden var inte alls bra utan man fĂ„r ta sig ca 30 minuter med bil till en mycket bĂ€ttre eller gĂ„ 15 minuter till en som var helt okej. Killen i receptionen var dock extremt hjĂ€lpsam och erbjöd vĂ€ldigt god service sĂ„ tack vara han blev inte vĂ„ra nĂ€tter dĂ€r sĂ„ tokiga trots allt.â

âBeing âperfectly locatedâ in Old San Juan means youâre within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars, historic sites (forts, plazas, cathedrals), and shops. We didnât have to rent a car, even we had a early flight and was easy to get a uber at 4am.

âPlace looks tiny from the outside but inside is spacious with 2 courtyards. Beautiful room with great AC. Included towels and beach towels. Bed was soft. Microwave in common area. Mini fridge in room. Shower pressure was just ok, but that isnât a deal breaker. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you are going to be coming in early for a cruise, as they will store your luggage and itâs really close to port. Very clean! â
âVilla Herencia is ideally located in old San Juan, and the hotel building has a long history, apart from being one of the most beautiful hotels weâve ever visited.
