“Very good place to stay in Niseko with great atmosphere and friendly people. Just down the hill from Annupuri. Yama-san and Kana-san are great hosts and offers free rides by car to Moira and Annupuri every day. You can ski all the way back through the woods from both Moira and Annupuri, so you don’t have to walk to get back. Some good restaurants close by as well as some good onsens. “Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and even helped drive us to the train station and stopped at the beautiful snowy sights around Biei along the way. This is a beautiful location, close to AKJ airport (by car, or by bus with a bit of walking). We decided to stay here because we wanted an easy location to stay the night after arriving in Hokkaido, before heading to the mountains. It was cozy, quiet, and clean, and we would stay here again happily.”

While the location was convenient for walking to local pubs and convenience stores, and the staff was very responsive—helping us arrange a private taxi from the airport—the overall experience left a lot to be desired. “Sato san and Nora san were the perfect hosts for our 4-night stay. Food was very good and the pension was warm and cozy. Our room was spacious enough and had a wonderful view of sunrise and even part of Mt Iwaki. Our room package came with daily breakfast and dinner.
