Villor i Playa del Carmen

"We had a great stay at Ocean Riviera Paradise in Playa del Carmen while traveling with our two young children (3 and 5 years old). The resort is beautiful, family-friendly, and offers plenty of pools, activities, and good dining options. Our room was comfortable and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. During our trip, my partner unfortunately became ill and needed to go to the hospital. We want to give a very special thank you to the concierge, Lisandro, who helped us tremendously during this stressful situation. He was incredibly kind, supportive, and helped organize everything we needed. His assistance made a difficult situation much easier for our family. We would also like to thank the entire staff at the resort for their kindness and professionalism during our stay. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful, and they truly contributed to making our stay a positive experience. For us, this was a 5 out of 5 stay."

"Receptionen var utmärkt. personalen var alltid vänlig, professionell och hjälpsam. Läget är perfekt, nära allt men ändå lugnt. Rummet var fint och bekvämt, och städningen fungerade mycket bra under hela vistelsen. Baren var fantastisk och frukostbuffén var verkligen imponerande, stort utbud och mycket gott. Personalen på takterrassen var också helt underbara och trevliga. Tyvärr var upplevelsen i restaurangerna inte lika bra. Maten kunde ha varit bättre i kvalitet och smak. Hotellet marknadsförs som all-inclusive, men alla maträtter ingår inte, vilket vi tycker borde vara tydligare. Dessutom upplevde vi att servicen i restaurangerna påverkades starkt av hur mycket dricks man gav – och att man förväntades ge dricks vid varje måltid för att få bra service. Det drog tyvärr ner helhetsintrycket. restaurangservice och matens kvalitet."

"Väldigt bra mat och vänlig personal. Toppläge i staden. Vi hade dock väntat oss ett lugnare hotell med rubriken ”adults only”. Skumsprutande över poolen och skrik hade vi gärna sluppit!"

"Jättestor All inclusive-anläggning, välorganiserad och med bra service och många aktiviteter. Fanns en bufférestaurang som var bra med jättestort utbud, samt tre separata restauranger som var helt okej men inget mer. Rummet var rent och rymligt med en generös minibar. För att komma till stranden behövde man gå ca 10 minuter. Vid stranden fanns en bra bufférestaurang och solsängar som ingick. Stranden var jättefin! Man kunde t ex segla med katamaran en timme utan kostnad. Väldigt fint poolområde och bra bar. Överlag en fin anläggning men lite för stor, högljudd och opersonlig. "

"Den stora buffematsalen upplevdes väldigt skräning och slamrig och till detta spelades musik alldeles för högt. Det drar ner betyget betydligt"

"Mycket trevligt hotell med oerhört mycket att erbjuda inom mat och aktiviteter. Om jag ska nämna något negativt så var det väl täckningen på wi-fi och den interaktiva kartan i deras app. Det gjorde det lite svårt att navigera runt i detta stora hotellkomplex."

"First of all, there is not 13 restaurants to choose from, there are only 1 for breakfast and lunch if you have kids. The hotel is so far from a 5-star establishment both in service, people skills and staff. The hotel is in big need of renovation and the bathroom smell funky like they have mold or something. The food was not good at any of the restaurants actually. They have a big problem with cats, coaties and racoons. The coaties and racoons jump up on the tables and steal food. They stole my wife´s food twice so we hade to leave because our 2,5 year old son got scared. No wonder when daddy had to stand up and try to shush the animals away from the table. The manager took a meeting and the only thing they did was to apologize. I didn´t expect more anyway since I´ve had more troubles at this one hotel than the other 100 I´ve been to through the years in total. Their concierge or team of adventure recommended us to go to Xcaret park. Not only was the tickets more expensive than if we bought them at the park, we had to stand in line like everybody else to claim our wristbands. And the worst, we asked if our son could go on all excursions and they said yes. But when we arrived, the signs said at least 6 years old... What a waste of 350USD. If you have a friend or family you don´t like, then you should recommend them to go here. Or else, avoid it like the plague. They even talked behind my back when I checked out, but little did they knew that I understand Spanish..."
