“Jättebra service och frukosten utmärkt. Behövs renoveras, slitna badrum. Poolområdet var toppen men damernas omklädningsrum var verkligen slitet och duscharna inte ok.”

“Beautiful harbour-side hotel with lovely views. Excellent spa. My only niggle is that the architect over-complicated the lighting system. Our room had 9 light switches (excluding the one for the bathroom) and it was impossible for us to turn off the dimmed light in the entrance hall area - no matter what switch combo we tried. My son and his gf had the same issue in their room. ”

“Check in and checking out went very smoothly. Kind and courteous staff. Very informative with questions asked. Restaurant on site offered a variety of delicious choices. Great restaurant service. The hotel setting was very charming and peaceful. Family was able to get a quality sleep after an exhausting day of travel. ”

“We stayed as we were going to portsmouth dockside. I did originally think it was closer to more things but thats my own fault for not checking. Easy to access though from the roads so just nipped in the car the next day. We stayed 1 night, had a drink in the bar. Didnt eat so cant comment on food. Very clean and staff friendly.”

“Lovely views and a comfortable stay. Room was very big and the shower was excellent. The fridge wasn’t working but was replaced straight away. Breakfast was great with a good choice of hot and cold food in the restaurant that had beautiful views of the harbour. Great location for exploring The Island. Staff very helpful.Swimming pool was great too although a bit on the warm side. However a good size. Bar area was really good too. ”

“The bed in my first room was dreadful, I found several hairs in the sheets and comfortable as sleeping on the floor. In addition, the hot water did not work in the shower - I felt kind of ripped off - better standard should be expected even though it is an English hotel. After complaining a couple of times they moved me to the family suite which had an descent bed and hot water, which saved my week. The receptionists were always friendly despite my unhappy mood after my first night.”

“Gorgeous room and lovely decor overall although a few things were broken opun arrival e.g. One of the blinds pull strings was snapped and one of the plant pots was crackes. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I would rate higher but the rooom did not come with any bath products or a hair dryer, and the tea and coffee was kept in the hallway between the rooms rather than having a selection in the room. Will definitely stay again if this is fixed. ”
