Rooms, service and cleaning overall good. Food and drinks can be everything from pretty good to disaster e.g. Childrens mac and cheese the worst I have seen ever (how is that even possible?). Also only local mexican beer and you cant even buy if you like something else. Also beach is terrible.

Unfortunately we will not be going back to Dreams Puerto Morelos, we were really excited and had high expectations based on other reviews. Upon arrival the front desk ladies were not welcoming at all, they were rude from check in to check out, if you arrive earlier than 3 expect to be sent away until after 3 to be given your room and there is no bathroom that accommodates you to be able to change meanwhile you wait. Food at the buffet is mediocre, liquor is cheap tasting. The resort is pretty small so if you travel with younger kids a stroller is not necessary and good luck bringing it up and down the stairs as the elevators in the building are not working. The one good thing about this resort is the entertainment throughout the day targeted for families, this is more of a family oriented resort so everything closes at 11pm which is why I think you get room service. We really wanted to love this place but many workers and incidents in their restaurants made us not want to go back.

Our stay was truly fantastic. The property offers multiple beautiful pools, consistently delicious food, and a team that delivers hospitality with genuine warmth. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and that level of service makes all the difference. It’s especially great for families with young children — the layout and amenities make it easy to relax while the kids have a blast. The only drawback was beach erosion limiting direct beach access, so we had to drive elsewhere to enjoy the shoreline. Not a dealbreaker, but something future guests should know. A personal highlight? The Aqua Therapy experience at the spa — absolutely worth it. A restorative, standout experience that elevated the entire trip. Overall, a memorable stay we’d gladly repeat.

The beach was nonexistent. When I did go in the ocean, I found a broken piece of glass and luckily didn’t step on it. Because of the lack of beach, the available chairs by the pools caused an insane situation of waking up at 6 AM just to get a chair by the pools. Only two of the restaurants were good out of six. This is none of the restaurants fill up. The hotel purposely leaves restaurant tables empty, causing longer waits, which is not a game you play at 6:00-8:00pm when people are hungry from a long day. In the room, the phone never worked. Nobody fixed it for six straight days, even though we told them every day. The bellhop was supposed to take our bags to our cab and the cab wasn’t there - hotel was slow on letting him in - and the bellhop came for the bags after our scheduled time to leave. Overall, the hotel is very bad at keeping appointments and schedules.

The room was clean, and I had the best view I've ever had, with the pool and ocean right outside our balcony. The staff were really nice, especially Christian, the lifeguard at the waterslides. He was very kind and polite to my kids and I. The food was great at the a la cart restaurants, but the buffet food was just ok. The eggs were always runny, there was no butter for our waffles and pancakes, and there wasn't much variety. Every morning was the same food. The food at the Barefoot Grill was delicious though. Loved the coffee at the Coco Cafe and my kids really enjoyed the ice cream there every day too. One complaint I have is that my family and I only got a lounger chair by the pool once the entire 5 days we were there. People put their towels and belongings on the chairs at like 4 or 5am and then go back to bed, and don't go back to their lounger until like 8 or 9am. We were out by the main pool one day at 7am and every single lounger had already been "reserved." There needs to be some enforcement and stronger rules regarding this. Every day we sat on the cement beside the pool because there were no loungers available. You should have it where you have to hand in your towel by 8pm when the pool closes, and any towels or belongings on chairs from 8pm-8am will be removed. This will give everyone a fair chance of getting a place to sit. Absolutely ridiculous there are no rules around this. I saw and spoke to many other people regarding this and they were also angry and upset

The rooms were clean, the food was excellent, the staff was generally excellent. It was impossible to get chairs to sit by the pool as they were all "taken" before 7am.

Everything was extremely cheep the food the entertainment the cheapest alcohol you can get You couldn't make reservations at the restaurants and when you get there they tell you is over an hour wait The second biggest pool was closed and was out of service I needed to go to the pool every morning before 6 am or there would be no seats (sunrise is around 6:50 so everyone came at dark ) The soap and shampoo dispensers never filled Twice room service cleaned the room but didn't put any towels At the pool they start to threaten us if we leave the seats more then 30 minutes they will take all our belongings and give the seats to others He did even care when i asked to record him We couldn't stay in the pool more then 30 minutes we didn't want to loose our belongings or seats Tge worse experience ever

Room fridge was only refilled one day. Staff was rode at checkout. The pos machines were not connecting so they said no pay your not getting off resort. VIP called is to see them. Wasted time. They told us we were preferred members and offered us things than when we went to use them they said they made a mistake and took it back. Not a pleasant experience

We stayed 6 nights Rooms were very clean, staff was nice. Spa treatment was amazing. My only complaint was there was an escape rooms for families to enjoy, not part of the resort. The price was $45 a person, which was fine by us. Our 2 girls wanted to play. They said it would be $90 so we paid with card but was charged $99, the next day we asked why. They explained they charge at 19 pesos. We told them everyone charge at 17 or 16 pesos. They said they don't that is why she said 1,710. Pesos. So if you want to enjoy the escape rooms, pay in dollars cash. Not in pesos, not by card. They will change you $9 extra.

Perfect room , very clean ,amazing food. Only problem is that we got some vouchers to use for wine and it was 40$ .. when we bought the wine one night they told us we can apply the 40$ at ones toward the wine price when we check out, but when we checked out they told us we can only apply 10$ and we had to pay 40 usd $. I was not happy about that at all and marco was not very nice with us about it.

After reading reviews, I didn’t have very high expectations. However, once we arrived, the experience exceeded what I anticipated. I want to start by saying that Nancy at the front desk is an absolute rockstar. Our flight was canceled due to Winter Storm Fern, and she went above and beyond to help us. After long hold times with JetBlue, Expedia representatives Rahul and Ahmed were able to extend our stay by two additional nights. Nancy then took over and handled everything flawlessly. She kept us in the same room so we didn’t have to move, worked quickly to prevent any interruptions, and managed multiple issues from staff and guests at the same time. Despite all the chaos, her smile never faded. Her customer service was truly exceptional. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was well maintained. The only downside was the lack of lounge chairs. There simply were not enough for the number of guests, and we had to wake up at 5:00 AM each morning just to secure a spot by the pool. As for the food, it was average. The buffet food was often cold and lacked flavor. The sit-down restaurants were mediocre with long wait times for food that was just okay. The best dining options were the French and Mexican restaurants. Overall, the trip was fun and relaxing despite the stress of the canceled flight. Room and food was great! The restraunts were good. Ate at an alacarte almost every night. Night entertainment was okay. Things we didnt like...music was very loud at main pool and if they had to move the entertainment inside it was Very loud. My kids couldn't even stand it. There are multiple pools which is lovely where its more relaxing but some are for perfered guests only. No pool/games room ( only 13-17 year olds) which was disappointing for my 8 and 10 year old and even us as adults. No sports area for watching games unless a prefered customer. Beach is almost gone and had crazy sea grass the whole time we were there (just the way things are). Main pool is heated, others are not. Resort is clean, staff were great!
