“This was our first time on Texada Island! The view from the Beach House was beautiful and the location was excellent. We were staying next door to more family, so it was nice to have a big family trip. The Beach House mostly suited our needs when it came to space. There were a few issues when it came to the property being ready for us though. They’re in the middle of redoing their deck, so it was halfway completed when we arrived. They bought a new bbq but it wasn’t set up, same with new...

“This is our second stay at this cosy little cabin it is in a great location for hiking and paddling. Kelli is a great host and promptly attends to any issues. The cabin is showing signs of age and could use a bit of maintenance. We hope to come back next year.”

It was too cold, rainy and windy to really enjoy the waterfront location but would like to return in nicer weather. Our only problem was getting the TV to work properly but Sylvia tried her best to help with that.”

“We had a wonderful time being hosted by Shannon at the Heather Cottage. Tucked away in a quiet location right on a wetland, it’s a great escape from the day to day. The cottage is cute and cozy, with everything you need for your getaway. We loved the fresh farm eggs, and the ambience. Wildlife awaits each time you look out towards the wetlands, with a variety of birds as well as an orchestra of frogs come dusk. “We absolutely loved our stay here, the hosts were so friendly and the guest suite was beautiful. I stayed with my 5 year old son, he was able to meet goats, chickens, ducks and made friends with their dog. He even helped the hosts collect eggs! We had planned to go out an explore the Comox Valley, but my son enjoyed the farm so much we ended up staying there for most of the day. I would highly recommend staying here to any family with young kids or anyone wanting a quiet place to get away”
